From this distance, he couldn't have seen it even with the best eyesight.
It was because of what Silas Grant had said.
That "another" was a nice touch.
Silas Grant looked down at him, extremely satisfied with the expression on his face.
Unlike this imposter fiancé, Kian Keller, Mia Grant had been engaged long before. In other words, she'd always had a legitimate fiancé.
'That guy had been hogging the title of Mia Grant's fiancé for so long. Just thinking about it was infuriating.'
Fortunately for Silas, while the existence of this other fiancé was galling, he wasn't a real threat—not compared to Kian Keller.
So, he was the perfect tool to get under Kian Keller's skin.
After all, Kian Keller seemed to care a great deal about his status as "fiancé."
