As Shen Jianfeng and Yan Qi were returning from the Eastern Palace, before they had even left the Imperial Palace, they were attacked by a phantom!
Shen Jianfeng couldn't understand why a phantom would appear in a place like the Imperial Palace, which was saturated with Imperial Qi.
But at this moment, he had no time to ponder it.
After the black mist shot up from beneath his feet, it drilled directly into his mind, clearly attempting a Possession.
The shock instantly sobered Shen Jianfeng up...
"Damn it, get out of me! Or I'll have you utterly obliterated! I'm Shen Lang's cousin!"
Shen Jianfeng roared, a mix of shock and fury.
Not caring whether Shen Lang's name could actually scare the phantom, he invoked it and then jabbed a finger hard against his own head.
Gritting his teeth, Shen Jianfeng gathered his Divine Sense to form a defense, preparing for a major battle with the phantom.
Possession was far more dangerous than any physical battle; it was a struggle to the death.
