Zane Shelby acted as if he were in his own home, completely at ease. He washed his hands, sat down at the dining table, and started chatting casually. "Are you getting used to this place? It's a bit small, but the location is excellent."
In Stellaport, where every inch of land is worth its weight in gold, this high-end apartment was already a thousand-square-foot luxury residence. Yet, to hear Zane Shelby tell it, it was "a bit small."
Liam Linden's expression faltered for a moment. He set out a bowl and chopsticks for Zane Shelby and replied politely, "Faye Vaughn and I are both comfortable here. We just don't want to be a constant bother to you, Mr. Shaw."
Once things stabilized, he would earn enough money to find another place and move out with Faye Vaughn.
A dark, possessive thought took root deep inside him: he didn't want Faye Vaughn living in another man's house.
