"What is wrong with me?" Fuqu wondered. "Wealth is tempting, but one needs to be alive to spend it. No... I can't act on my own! But... it's really so tempting! Did His Excellency really give them two Memory Erasing Pills? I don't believe it! How could such an Elixir even exist in this world? They must be two poison pills! That's right, that must be it. His Excellency wants to use my hands to kill both of them! If that's the case... I might as well do it myself!"
She hesitated. "Xue Chuqing... forget it, I won't kill her. We were once like sisters. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it. But Luo Tian... what psychological burden would I have in killing him? None at all! He's going to die anyway, so I might as well be the one to kill him! I'm sure my courage will impress His Excellency!"
Along the way, various thoughts continuously surfaced in Fuqu's mind. Even as she arrived at the place where Xue Chuqing and Xu Luo were held, she remained conflicted.
