Wan Jimie no longer looked at Wan Xuegui; he was clearly utterly disappointed in this descendant.
His gaze swept toward Ye Tianling, a thoughtful look appearing on his face. "Soul Talent? A mutation? Soul-Searching Technique?" he asked.
Wan Jimie's question startled Ye Tianling. "What Soul-Searching Technique?" he replied. "The Soul Talent, however, is real."
Wan Jimie said, "Your use of the Soul Talent is quite impressive."
Ye Tianling gave an awkward smile. "You flatter me."
Wan Jimie snorted. "Did you think that just because you've bewildered Wan Xuegui, I—manifested through a projection of his bloodline inheritance—am helpless against you?"
A sense of crisis bloomed in Ye Tianling's heart. He immediately shouted, "Xuegui, my grandson! Your grandfather's original will has gone rogue and wants to destroy this new life I'm living! Channel your will and send him back!"
