Keigan's POV
Next day
Yesterday Kuya was behaving very weirdly. He was kind of very sentimental and he was again and again saying for the mistakes he unknowingly did. He also promised that this weekend we will go on a brothers getaway meaning today after school we are going on a holiday just us. I mean Keiren was very excited. But I have some teeny tiny doubt what if his friends again call him and he goes away like other times. I am not saying he is a bad Kuya it is the opposite he is the bestest Kuya one could ever get. It's just that sometimes he gives importance to useless stuff that I know are going to harm him. I started getting ready for school and as usual I was not able to find my specs. I don't know where do they go always. This is the same story every morning. Just then Kuya came in with my specs in his hands. I took them from him. We then go to dinning room to have breakfast Keiren was already present half sleepy. That made both me and Kuya chuckle . That woke him up.
Kuya Keiffy" Remember we are going to on trip after school."
Keiren" I know that's why I couldn't sleep the whole night in excitement"
Keigan " do you really promise that we' ll go.just confirming"
Kuya Keiffy" yes I promise we'll go. Even if I get a call. I hope you both have packed your bags"
Keigan " yes I have packed enough clothes. You should ask him(pointing at Keiren). If had packed clothes or just his games"
Keiren started whining to Kuya saying I am teasing him. After finishing our breakfast we went to our respective schools.
When I entered my class I saw Yajna and when she saw me she stared at me hard as if I have offended her ancestors. And this Elixira has started behaving very weirdly she once tried to get our seats changed but teachers scolded her and told no.
Yajna " Do you think I am judgemental"
Keigan " when did I say that ?( i said squinting my eyes)
Yajna " your Kuya said that to my sister. That i judge with my eyes so hard as if its my duty to select heaven or hell for a person after death. You know my sister laughed at me for whole day yesterday. Now she calls me Chitragupt."
That made me want to burst out laughing but I composed myself.
Keigan " that are his views. I did not say that don't be angry with me "
Yajna " who is angry, I am not angry. I was just asking"
Just then Elixira crosses us and she acts as if she accidentally pushed Yajna. Yajna almost fell on me but I balanced her. I don't know what is she doing and why?
Yajna " I think your ex girlfriend has some problem with me"
Keigan " ignore her"
Yajna " by the way you said you are going somewhere. Where?"
Keigan " I don't know its a surprise. If Kuya doesn't get a important call "
Yajna. " chill that happens. Even with me so many times my sister cancelled because it was a busy day and she is tooo tired to go out. No need to be so sulky. Show your brother some mercy."
She lightly slaps my shoulder. And I lightly push her with my shoulders. Some of our class mates started giggling seeing us. I know they ship us together and I don't know why I like that alot.
And like that our school day for today got over. But this Elixira is behaving very weirdly.
Keiren and I reach home Kuya is already here and setting everything up.
Kuya Keiffy " Go change your clothes and freshen up we have long journey and have some snacks before going"
After some time we get settled in the car and started our journey. And we reached our destination by evening. It was grand hotel in the mountains. Actually great weekend getaway. Kuya has already pre-booked two rooms.
Keiren " i will share room with Kuya Keifer."
KEIFER'S POV
After doing some formalities and taking keys to our rooms. I feel relaxed. I messaged Jay that we have reached she has also gone to her Lola's house with her family for the weekend. She said she and her 'soul sisters' something like the show 'Hot ones' on YouTube. They have already brought the sauces online from their official site. I don't know why do people do that to themselves but she was very excited.
After resting a bit we went down to the gaming zone on playground. There was area for every sport football, basketball, baseball, hockey,and lots more . I was observing Keigan after we saw people playing with football ⚽️ he was staring at them. When we were kids and our mother was still alive. He used to come with me to play only on the days I used to play football and he used to win every time. But after coming back he stopped playing football. I don't know what that man did to him to fear football. Keiren jumped on swings. As today was very hectic we retired early to our rooms.
When we got settled on our bed I video called Jay. She picked up after two rings. She was with her Lola in her room.
Jay(excitedly)" Hello! Keifer this is my Lola. She is more mischievous than me."
So funny . She looks so happy with her Lola.
Lola" is he your boyfriend ?"
Keifer " yes grandma -in-law, not official yet because of our situation but soon."
Keiren (popping up in between)" and I am his favorite brother"
Lola" such a cute kid. What is your name?"
Keiren " My name is Mike Keiren Watson and I study in Acadia Bayshore High School with Kuya Keigan "
Lola " Then why is he not in the same school" (pointing at me)
In my mind is think I don't know.
