Chapter 16
(After 3 days)
What we feared came true, we were attacked. Tita had a minor accident she was saved by Keifer he was passing by the same area. She was now resting in her room, even if we know it was not just an accident still we can't do anything about it as we have absolutely no proof. We are doing as Kuya told us to do , as it is the only way we can help him. Here, I was getting ready for school. My cousin is way more punctual than any one else. I used to sleep 15 minutes extra even when I used to go by bicycle and now even when we go by car we go way early. I got ready and went ready and went down to have breakfast.
Lola was taking care of Tita and scolding her too.
Aries " Have your breakfast and lets go fast"
Jay " yeah, but do you have to open the school so early everyday " (he gives me a blank expression. And everyone chuckled)
Then I just ate the breakfast and hugged Tita goodbye. It was very scary when we were informed that Tita had an accident. Aries has become more serious and we have talked alot in these two days. I even tried to pry out the reason of his anger towards me but all my efforts went in vain. I got now answers.
After sometime we reached school
Aries " go directly to your class and don't talk to Yuri especially alone"
Jay" Yes , dad (saluting him. ) (he rolled his eyes at me and went away)
Then as I got down from the car I saw that someone's car was already their and he was waiting for me in the car. Then he saw me and got down from the car. He was smiling seeing me.
Aries " Keifer"
Keifer " Aries"
Jay " yeah !!(jumping) you two know each other's name"(these two the glared at me)
Aries " be safe" (we gave each other a tight hug)
Jay " and you relax" (he nods)(Keifer watches us with a questioning look on his face)
Then we went towards our own classes
Keifer "what was that? Is there some problem that you are not telling me."
Jay " Fine, I will tell you after this week"
Keifer " no , I want to know it right now, do you not believe me. I told you everything about me and my family" (This stubborn man)
Jay " fine you are already coming to meet Tita today, so I will tell you then"
Keifer " about that I don't think that accident was really an ' accident ' . You should ask Angelo to get police involved I talked to him but he did nothing"
Jay" we know it was not just an accident, but now we cannot involved police just yet. And do not tell anyone anything right now. Can't trust anyone right now. I know you will find it weird but please don't tell anything to Yuri especially and it would be better if you stay away from him."
Just then Ci-an comes from behind surprising us.
Ci-an " That I used to say it too. I find him very cunning and mysterious. He always does everything from behind and we don't even understand . But everytime me or Keigan say anything against Yuri he would scold us. Keigan wants to do thorough checkup for satisfaction but he said no."
Jay (looking at him) " then do it for their satisfaction do a deep research on him and his family "
Keifer's POV
I don't know why all my well wisher or people who are very close to me are always against Yuri. First my mother did not liked him very much then Keigan and Ci-an(I consider him as my brother not just friend) even Percy (i talked to him he said to stay away from Yuri)and Keiren says he doesn't like his vibe and now Jayjay too. I need too know what is happening with her. Is she in problem. But what if everyone was correct about him then what . NO , I don't want think like that Jay was correct i will ask one of my men to do thorough background research on him to shut their mouths. After sometime our friends starts pouring in with their chaos. Then Yuri enters and sits beside Jay and tries talking to her but she ignores him. Like that our school time for today ends.
JAY'S POV
I was in the parking area waiting for Aries. Then I saw Yuri coming towards me.oh God this man.
Yuri "Why are you ignoring me?Today we will go for dinner be ready at 8' of clock do you get that? Or it will be very problematic.
Aries " no, she will not come with you. That engagement was a big mistake. We will rectify it soon don't worry "
Yuri "nothing will help you if you cancel this engagement. You will go bankrupt."
This made me angry too but I stopped Aries from saying anything.
Jay " Aries lets go , Kuya said to take care of Tita"
(At this Yuri Jeered at us. And that made me and Aries stop.)
Yuri " yeah take care of her . From now on only you two will have take care of her"(he again jeered at us)
We both immediately sat in the car and started driving towards Fer Corp. (We didn't know that someone else heard everything )
Aries "why didn't you let me answer him"
Jay" he was fishing for the truth . If you would have told him about new better contract it would be bad. They still are not sure if all the cleansing happening is random or we know the truth"
We reached Fer Corp and it was empty only few screaming voiced could be heard from a cabin.
We went in and saw that both Kuya and Tita Julz were tied up on the chair. Both of them got shocked seeing us their. Kuya has an injury on the head, they must have hit his head to control him. Then those people started coming for Aries and me. (For safety i bought iron rod from outside hehe!!). We got attacked by 5 men together.
AUTHOR'S POV
Jay got attacked by three men together she then unleashed her inner sword fighter. She deflected , blocked attacks from one man and impaled others with her tactical use of iron rod as a sword. She whirled and swinger the iron rod as a sword and Aries took care of other two men.
Her fighting skills shocked everyone. And then they both untied Angelo and Julz and called and they left for home after the mess was cleared up.
