Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Vibranium Horror & The Extinction Event

Rollin teleported instantly, reappearing behind Jason. His hand, wreathed in the screaming chaos of Chidori, thrust directly into Jason's back, aiming for the heart.

SCREECH—!

The lightning tore through Jason's outer skin. The smell of ozone and burning flesh filled the air. Against Chidori's armor-piercing nature, even Jason's supernatural resilience should have been meaningless.

Normally, this would be a fatality.

But as the lightning drilled deeper, seeking the core, it hit something hard.

Something impossible.

The raging electricity vanished instantly, sucked into a black void within Jason's chest.

"Bad move!"

Sensing the energy drain, Rollin blinked away just as Jason swung his machete backward. The blade sliced through the afterimage with terrifying force, causing the juggernaut to stumble.

Through the gaping wound on Jason's back, everyone saw it.

Beneath the rotten flesh lay a skeleton of dark, matte metal.

"You have got to be kidding me," Rollin cursed, his face darkening. "Whoever plated Jason Voorhees with Vibranium is going to pay. I will find you, and I will make you understand why flowers are so red."

He was certain. Only Vibranium—one of the Marvel Universe's Three Great Metals—could absorb kinetic and elemental energy like that.

It's 2026. Even Slasher villains have tech upgrades now? This is absurd!

If Jason had Vibranium, he likely had Adamantium too. He was already immune to pain and death. Now, he was immune to physics. Standard fire and lightning were useless.

"What is Vibranium?" Madison asked, eyes wide.

"Sound-absorbing steel from Wakanda. It absorbs vibration, kinetic energy, and thermal energy," Rollin explained rapidly. "Captain America's shield is made of it. That's why he can tank explosions."

Tommy didn't have time to be shocked. He raised his shotgun and unloaded.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Decades of marksmanship meant every slug hit center mass.

But they bounced off Jason like paper spitballs.

"Save your ammo, old man. You could hit him with a tank shell and he wouldn't flinch," Rollin shouted. "You know Wolverine? Jason is currently harder than Wolverine!"

Rollin switched tactics instantly.

He clenched his fists. A golden, translucent aura enveloped him. A sense of warmth and sanctity radiated outward, dispelling the fear in everyone's hearts. even Maria felt a spark of courage.

"Holy Light!"

Rollin whispered the incantation. A beam of concentrated solar radiance blasted Jason.

For humans, it was a healing spell. For the undead, it was nuclear radiation.

Jason staggered. Black smoke poured from his body as the holy energy burned away the darkness.

Holy Light (from Warcraft) was the ultimate counter to the Undead. It healed allies, shielded them, and incinerated evil.

Jason roared—a guttural, soulless sound of agony. The fleshy parts of his body sloughed off, revealing the cold, mechanical skeleton underneath.

And there, stamped on the Vibranium chest plate, was a logo.

A skull with tentacles.

"Fuck! Hydra again?!"

Rollin wanted to scream. Why was Hydra everywhere? They were the ultimate shit-stirrers of the multiverse. Evil plans, evil science, evil brunch.

Now they had combined an immortal soul with indestructible metal.

Did you idiots consider what happens when the unkillable cyborg demon goes rogue?

Jason, now a walking Terminator skeleton, ignored the pain. He ignored Tommy. His glowing red eyes locked onto Rollin. The Holy Light had drawn massive aggro.

He marched forward, unstoppable. Even Rollin's telekinesis could only slow him down, not stop him.

"Tommy! Do you have a plan?" Rollin shouted.

"I had eight plans!" Tommy yelled back, reloading frantically. "But none of them account for him being bulletproof!"

"Rollin, what are you doing?" Madison asked.

Rollin had stopped fighting. He was looking up at the sky, his right hand raised high, palm open.

"I'm calling in an airstrike," Rollin said solemnly. "Standard attacks don't work on pay-to-win players. We need to go nuclear."

"I'm going to pin him down. You guys drive away. Far away. I'm summoning a meteor to flatten Crystal Lake."

Rollin had swapped Chidori for Planet Befall (Zhongli's Ultimate).

In Genshin Impact, it dropped a rock. In reality? It dropped a meteor. The damage output depended on the energy invested. With Rollin's current mana pool, he couldn't wipe out New York, but he could definitely erase a zip code.

"Even Vibranium has limits. You can absorb vibration? Fine. Can you absorb the kinetic energy of a falling star? Can you survive ten million degrees of heat?"

???

Tommy's face went pale.

"Wait! Who's the villain here?! He just wants to kill teenagers! You want to cause an extinction event!"

"Calm down! Impulse is the devil!" Tommy grabbed Rollin's arm. "We just need to get him into the lake! The water has a binding property! It can seal him!"

"No. That's a band-aid solution. Hydra will just fish him out again," Rollin shook his head. "I prefer a permanent fix. I'm going to reduce him to atoms."

Jason's immortality relied on his body. If his body was vaporized into sub-atomic particles, how could he resurrect?

"But this is New York!" Tommy pleaded.

"It's the suburbs."

"There's a town nearby!"

"I'll aim carefully. But we can't risk him escaping. Any mercy now leads to a team wipe later."

Rollin was resolute. Jason died today. Even the Devil couldn't save him.

"Maybe..." Madison interjected, "We can use telekinesis to drag him somewhere isolated first?"

Tommy nodded furiously. "Yes! North of the lake is a primitive forest. No people. Perfect for... disposal."

Rollin considered it. "Fine."

They worked together. Madison and Rollin used their combined telekinesis to bind Jason in heavy chains and drag him behind the pickup truck like a rabid dog.

They drove deep into the woods.

Once they reached the kill zone, Rollin stopped the truck.

He focused. He channeled the Geo element. More than half of his total energy reserves vanished in an instant.

The sky darkened.

Clouds parted.

A massive meteor, hundreds of meters in diameter, burned through the atmosphere, dragging a tail of apocalyptic fire. It screamed toward the earth.

"What the fuck! You were serious!"

Tommy stared up, paralyzed by the sheer majesty of impending doom. "Wait! We're still here!"

Rollin's face was pale from the exertion. He waved his hand, and a blue teleportation circle appeared beneath them.

"Hold on."

As the meteor breached the cloud layer, Rollin quickly used the Map Editor to drag every boulder in the vicinity onto Jason, burying him in a stone tomb to ensure he couldn't move.

Flash.

They vanished.

They reappeared instantly at the dilapidated gas station miles away.

There, they bumped into Jennifer and Yulenka, who had just fled the camp. The mother and daughter stared at the group appearing out of thin air.

Before anyone could speak—

BOOM!!!

The earth shook. A mushroom cloud rose over the forest.
