Jay's POV
I was barely conscious.
My brothers were shouting into their phones while Jas and Lia tried to wake me up.
Meanwhile, Kiefer lifted me in a bridal style.
Kiefer: "Where?"
Jas: "Follow me."
After that… I don't remember anything. I fell asleep.
When I woke up, everyone was standing in front of me.
Kiefer and Aries were holding my hands.
The doctor spoke seriously.
Doctor: "She has marks on her neck. It's clear she lost air, which caused her to faint.
Make sure she takes these medicines and drinks something hot."
Percy: "Sure, thank you, Doctor."
Jas and Lia bowed respectfully.
Aion came running toward me, Raffy right behind him.
Aion: "Ateee!"
Raffy: "Titaaa!"
Aion: "Sorry, Tita… this happened because of me. She suddenly kidnapped me from the picnic. She is a—"
Lia: "Aion! Bad word."
Aion: "Mom, I asked Tito Percy. He said it's not a very bad word."
Lia glared at Percy.
Percy (whispering): "Sorry…"
Aries: "You're married?"
Lia: "No…"
Kiefer: "Then this kid—?"
Lia (whispering so Aion couldn't hear): "I adopted him."
Kiefer & Aries: "Ahhh."
Percy: "Who would marry a disaster?"
Aion: "Who is disaster?"
"No one, Aion," I laughed softly, even though it hurt.
"Are you hurt anywhere?"
Aion: "No, see!"
He turned around to show me.
"Good. Go back to your room, finish your homework. I'll come check."
Raffy: "How are you, Ate?"
"I'm fine. Are you hurt?"
Raffy: "No."
Kiefer: "Is he too—?"
Percy: "No, he's our brother. Adopted earlier."
They nodded.
"Raffy, help Aion. Go," I said.
Raffy: "Okay, Ate. Jas Ate, take care of her."
Jas: "Yeah. Go handle your trouble first, then become a gentleman."
Both of them ran out.
Everyone started talking at once.
"How are you, Jay?"
"How do you feel?"
"You know how to use a gun now?"
"Jay, you're becoming a gangster!"
I snapped, "Hey! We know how to use a gun for protection. You've already seen why."
Percy: "We should increase security."
Jas: "And bodyguards for Raffy and Aion too."
"Where are Kiegan and Kairen?"
Kiefer: "They're safe. Sleeping in their room."
I finally breathed out.
Dane: "And now one of the bitches is here."
Aren: "Who are you calling a bitch, brat?"
Lia: "Uhh…"
Aren: "Nice acting, Jay."
Kiefer: "She wasn't acting."
Aren: "Why are you so interested in her? You're handsome, rich… her life is a disaster."
She stepped closer to him.
Kiefer rolled his eyes and came to sit beside me.
Kiefer: "She's annoying."
Aren: "You'll have to like me later."
Kiefer (muttering): "That will never happen."
I chuckled.
Percy: "Why are you here?"
Jas: "Probably to mess things up."
Lia: "Or she has another plan."
Aren: "Come on, Kuya."
Percy: "You don't deserve to call me that. Get out."
Aren: "Fine, bye."
She winked at Kiefer.
He ignored her.
I swear, I want to poke her eyes out for looking at my Kiefer.
Wait—my Kiefer? No, Jay, focus.
Percy: "Plan 45."
Lia, Jas, Dane, and Percy nodded.
Kiefer: "What plan?"
Percy: "Meeting at 10."
Yuri: "Why not now?"
Jas: "Because that bitch will be in her beauty sleep."
Kiefer: "It won't work. She's like a leech."
I laughed.
Percy: "Perfect word."
Dane: "Exactly. Stay away from her."
Kiefer: "My foot."
"Dismissed. Jay, take rest."
Kiefer's POV
I was worried about Jay…
and that annoying girl was following me everywhere.
This villa is huge. I was completely lost.
Aren: "Hey, handsome. Let me help you."
She moved closer. I stepped back until the wall stopped me.
I felt uncomfortable.
I never felt this with Jay. With her, I feel safe.
Aren: "What are you to Jay?"
"None of your business."
Aren: "Be mine. I can give you everything."
"I'm Jay's boyfriend. I love her."
Aren: "She won't give you anything before marriage. I will."
"Shut up. Go away."
I pushed her. She fell.
Aren: "You may not choose me now, but I'll make you mine."
"Dream on."
I ran.
I called Jay.
Jay: "What?"
"Jay, save me."
Jay: "From whom?"
"From that leech. She's harassing me."
She laughed.
Jay: "Where are you?"
"Near a pool."
Jay: "Do you see stairs?"
"Yes."
Jay: "Come up, turn right. First room."
Finally, I found her.
"I escaped the leech!"
She laughed.
"I told her I'm your boyfriend."
Jay: "Wait, what?!"
"Let's be official."
She stared at me.
I sulked and walked toward the door.
Jay: "Fine. Let's be official."
I ran back.
She kissed my forehead.
I kissed her lips.
"I love you, Jay."
Jay: "I love you too."
"Now go sleep," she said. "And today's meeting is shifted to tomorrow at the café. That leech is watching everything."
Kiefer: "Please take me to my room. If I get lost again, she'll stick to me."
Jay: "Fine, let's go."
She held my hand and guided me through the long corridor.
Jay: "Here. Your room. Good night."
Kiefer: "Good night, girlfriend. I love you."
Jay: "Love you too, Kiefer. Go sleep."
Before she could say anything else, I turned back, kissed her quickly, and ran inside.
