Chapter 19 - A Member Of The Absolute Ten Defeated?

The Journey Beyond The Absolute

A Member Of The Absolute Ten Defeated?

As I stood there, enveloped in a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, I suddenly felt Azors voice echoing in the depths of my mind, a soothing yet urgent presence. "I think youre ready now," he stated with a level of certainty that sent shivers down my spine. In the blink of an eye, with a force that felt both mystical and overwhelming, he transported me back to the familiar yet enigmatic surroundings of The Anantaxis.

As I materialized within the walls of this ancient haven, I felt a strange mixture of apprehension and excitement coursing through my veins. The atmosphere was thick with an unshakable energy, as if the very fabric of this place was alive and pulsing with secrets. I spoke with a tone that mirrored the shadowy depths of my thoughts, "Very well." The words left my lips, resonating through the silence like a herald of impending change.

Just as I began to acclimate to my surroundings, Azors voice returned to me once more, piercing through the veil of my contemplation. "Hes coming," he warned, his tone laced with a sense of urgency that demanded my full attention. I could feel the weight of impending danger saturating the air around me, a dark foreboding that hinted at the trials to come. My heart raced as I braced myself for whatever formidable force was approaching. Time seemed to stretch infinitely, the silence crackling with anticipation, as I prepared to confront the challenge that lay ahead.

"I see." I respond with a dark tone, brimming with a mix of defiance and anticipation.

With a boyish grin stretching across his face, Xyraeth suddenly appears, declaring triumphantly, "Found you!" He lands with a startling quickness, shaking the ground as his feet make contact, the earth itself seeming to tremble at the intensity of his arrival.

"Before we jump into battle," I begin, a brooding intensity in my voice, "can you enlighten me on what powers you possess?"

Xyraeths grin widens, confidence radiating from him as he explains, "Its quite simple, really. My ability allows me to enhance any skill and amplify any of my physical attributes at will. I can raise them as high as I desire or lower them when I choose there are no restrictions here." The arrogance in his words is palpable, and I can sense the power coursing through him.

I raise my fists, channeling my energy and releasing a deep, steadying breath, my expression darkening as I taunt, "Come at me then." I close my eyes, centering myself for the impending confrontation.

"Fine," Xyraeth replies with a grin that suggests he looks forward to the clash. Without warning, he appears right behind me, a blur of motion, launching a powerful kick aimed at my side. Instantly, I feel the surge of his modified skill enhancer activating, his kick tearing through the air with an intensity that threatens to obliterate everything around it, generating an explosion of force that annihilates an unfathomable number of what I know as the The Anantaxis.

"Nice try," I retort darkly, a smirk forming on my lips. I duck gracefully beneath the strike, quickly grabbing his leg and using momentum to slam him to the ground before stomping down harshly upon him.

"Confusing," he mutters, surprise flickering in his eyes. "This time, you sound like youve fought someone like me before. The only conclusion is time manipulationwhat a pain. Regardless, I will kill you." Clutching his bleeding abdomen, he pushes off the ground, landing deftly on his feet.

"Now its my turn!" I snap, launching a punch aimed straight at his face. The sheer force behind my strike threatens to obliterate everything in its path, aiming to dismantle yet another unfathomable expanse of the Protopantheon.

"Nice try," he counters with a taunting grin. "Ill borrow your move." He ducks below my blow, and with the activation of his modified skill ability, he retaliates with a punch to my gut, the impact rippling through reality and again destroying a staggering number of the The Anantaxis.

"Not even close," I hiss darkly, tightening my stance. I manage to brace myself just in time, blocking the incoming attack, but the sheer force sends me spiraling through an additional multitude of Protopantheonan impossible number in the devastating arena we find ourselves in.

"Is that all youve got?" Xyraeth grins, his confidence growing.

"Not even remotely," I reply, determination surging through me. "But it seems I must put an end to this now!" A sudden surge of crimson energy ignites within me as I proclaim, "This is my… Crimson Singularity!" Bursting forth from the realm of the Protopantheon, I find myself cloaked in blood, my hand lifted skyward, gathering a colossal sphere of red and yellow energy that seems to roil and crackle with raw power.

"Eager to die again, are you?" Xyraeth shoots back with a cocky grin. "Very well, then! Ill respond with something of my own this is my… Void Execution! Your funeral!" He raises a finger towards the sky, and from it manifests a magnificent sword of pure black energy, crackling ominously.

At that moment, we both unleash a thunderous battle cry "This is it! All or nothing!!"

Our attacks clash in a cataclysmic collision, each embodiment of our power vying for dominance in a battle that feels like the end of worlds.

"Take this!" Xyraeth bellows, channeling more dark energy into his assault, making his attack swell larger as it pushes against my Crimson Singularity.

"Oh no you dont!" I retort fiercely, redirecting all my energy into my own attack red and yellow swirling together, growing, expanding, ultimately superseding his power, driving back against his Void Execution.

I can see the moment realization dawns on him as his eyes widen in shock. "Impossible!"

In a blinding explosion that ruptures the fabric of existence, he gets engulfed in a radiant blast that surpasses and obliterates an beyond absolute infinite number of the Protopantheon, a cataclysmic event that sends shockwaves through the very essence of reality itself.

As the aftermath settles, I look around the expanse, my chest heaving as I claim, "In the end, I emerged victorious. But this war is far from over. If one entity proved to be this formidable, what challenges will the others pose?" As I stagger from the crater, bloodied yet standing, a sense of foreboding creeps in.

From the shadows, a figure steps forward, casually observing my state of disarray. "Well, well," the figure muses, "it appears you have bested him. How impressive. But this doesnt conclude your journey, does it, Right Ather Vael?"

My heart races as recognition floods in, my eyes widening in disbelief. "You're-" But before I can finish that thought, darkness closes in, and I crumple to the ground, unconscious.

"Gotcha now," the mysterious figure responds nonchalantly, effortlessly catching me before I hit the ground, their voice lingering like a haunting melody in the void.
