Chapter 48 - Chapter 48: Edoulu is actually Caroline?

However, after Kerori went on stage, she seemed to see something, but she didn't know why. Why were Shesi and Iruma in the VIP section below the stage? Was it because of what just happened, causing her to hallucinate?

Let's go back to the very beginning.

Iruma, Shesi, and the two who followed, Clara and Asmodeus, arrived at the Broadcast Division room.

"Oh, perfect timing, you all came. Here, take these," Broadcast Division Head Bachin Balaki handed four items to Shesi.

"These are?" Although Shesi knew what they were, he still pretended not to. But there were four tickets? In the original story, there were only three. Did an extra one appear because he was here?

"It's Kuromu's concert! VIP tickets," Asmodeus said instinctively, looking at the tickets in Shesi's hand.

"My relative knows the organizer and managed to get them. I told them I won the grand prize at the Division exhibition, and they asked me to personally help out at the concert. It's such an honor!" As Balaki spoke, he started to cry, and a girl next to him handed him a handkerchief.

"It would be a waste to throw away so many tickets. With your achievements, it's not surprising for you to win the grand prize. In fact, we kind of snatched your grand prize, so consider this our reward to you."

"Really? Thank you!" Shesi said with a smile. Although he had already contacted Jazz, even if he didn't have a ticket, he could still get a VIP seat.

That's why Kerori could now see the four people in the VIP seats.

Finally, the midday performance ended.

"Next is the famous scene..." Shesi had only spoken half a sentence when he suddenly realized something. Something felt off. If Iruma's previous life was a coincidence, and his addition reallocated the ticket order, would his brother still be chosen to meet Kuromu alone? Or would it become...? Shesi looked at the other two and began to imagine.

Clara entering the lounge and spending time alone with Kuromu.

"Hey, hey, what color is this? It's so vibrant! Can I do the same pose as you? And what's this...?"

Ultimately, she was thrown out by security.

As for Asmodeus... after going in and greeting her... he would probably remain silent the whole time, right? After all, what could interest Asmodeus... Shesi looked at his brother.

"Please wait a moment, are you Mr. Iruma?" Suddenly, a voice came from the side. Iruma and the others turned to look, while Shesi breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed things were still following the plot. As long as he said he would wait here, he would probably see the second performance tonight. Shesi turned his head towards Iruma with a mischievous smile, when suddenly another voice came.

"Are you Mr. Shesi?"

Shesi stiffly turned around to look at the pair of staff members.

"Congratulations! You've won the grand prize of a private meeting with Kuromu!"

"Eh?" Shesi expressed his confusion. How could this be? Hadn't they already approached Iruma?

Suddenly, the staff member's phone rang. After listening to the conversation, he nodded.

"Sorry, Mr. Shesi, due to time constraints, could you please ask Mr. Iruma to come along with you?"

Shesi understood.

"So, there's more than one grand prize?"

"Of course. Originally, there were 10 spots, but Kuromu said she needed to rest, so the spots were reduced to two."

"Brother, it seems we can go together," Iruma said, having heard the conversation and walked over.

"Eh? Are you two brothers? That's wonderful! However, you will still receive compensation. We will present you with a commemorative album and a picture book personally signed by Kuromu."

"Ah... that's really great," Shesi said with a forced smile. It seemed the plot convergence in this world was very well done, but next time, please don't include me, thank you.

Inside the lounge.

Shesi and Iruma were sitting opposite Kuromu, who was Kerori.

"Ah, so that's how it is. I never expected to even win a chance to meet Miss Kuromu. But I didn't expect to have to go through five security checks to meet Miss Kuromu..." Iruma explained. It turned out Kerori wanted to know why Iruma and Shesi were there, so she couldn't resist her curiosity and asked. After hearing the whole story, Kerori couldn't help but think angrily in her heart:

I'm so frustrated... What kind of popular-among-everyone situation is this? Even the seniors are giving them constant praise? As expected, in school... they're more popular than me...!

As Kerori's emotions grew agitated, her family ability [Ice Surface] began to lose control. The temperature in the room started to drop, and even the water in the cups in front of them began to freeze.

"Eh? It's so cold!"

Kuromu was startled by the sound and quickly explained,

'The air conditioner is broken... haha.'

'Ah... I see.' 'Haha.'

Seeing this, Shesi finally couldn't hold back his desire to comment.

"Don't laugh, both of you. Your laughter is making me a little scared." Shesi looked at Kerori's hand, where her skin was pinched red. This was from her anger after hearing Iruma's words. He had a feeling that if he didn't interrupt her angry thoughts, something bad would happen.

"Ah, by the way, Miss Kuromu, you're both a student and an Idol, right?" Shesi changed the subject.

"Hm? Uh huh," Kerori paused for a moment then nodded. Iruma also praised upon hearing this,

"That's amazing, even with such a busy work schedule."

"Yes, it is. After all, from filming TV and recording songs in the morning, to dance, piano, and vocal lessons during breaks, to magazine interviews, preparation meetings, and concert rehearsals after school," Kuromu said, placing her notebook on the table.

"Wow, that's amazing! The notebook is full," Iruma said, picking up the notebook.

"It's nothing, really," Although Kerori answered casually, in Shesi's opinion, Kerori's nose was clearly getting longer with pride.

"Ah, it really is tiring," Shesi also sighed upon hearing this.

"Eh... it's alright, I guess," Kerori paused for a moment but still replied.

"And don't snoop in other people's notebooks!" Kerori snatched the notebook back, saying, she almost forgot that tomorrow's schedule was still in the notebook. Hopefully, it wasn't discovered.

Suddenly, Kerori saw the eyes behind Shesi.

Danger!

Kerori instinctively rushed towards Shesi. Just as she reached his side, she slipped on the floor, which had been wiped by some dedicated staff member. Kerori lost her balance and was about to fall when Shesi caught her.

"Uh..." The two looked at each other, not knowing what to say.

"Th-thank you," Kerori thanked him.

"Mm, as long as you're alright." Shesi helped Kerori up and turned to look. It was a pair of glasses. He handed the glasses to Kerori.

"Be careful next time, don't be so reckless."

"Yes..." Kerori said, embarrassed, turning into a steam engine.

"Then we won't bother you any longer." Shesi pulled Iruma and walked out. To avoid getting himself involved, it was best not to follow the plot.
