Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Returning to Nazarick

Aicia pleaded piteously with Draco.

Draco felt a bit of a headache. "Haven't you already earned so many gold coins?"

Draco had previously given Aicia 100 gold coins to help buy clothes for Shiro and the others.

It was obvious that Aicia had pocketed a significant portion of it.

After all, clothes wouldn't cost that many gold coins.

"No, I just simply want to follow you, Master."

"Heh!"

"Master, please! Waaah!!"

Draco was helpless. "Sigh, go wait for orders at Caroline's shop."

"There might actually be a place where I'll need you."

Aicia was delighted and said excitedly, "Really?"

"Really. Now let go of my leg, okay?"

Draco was thinking that he would still need a large number of slaves in the future, and having Aicia as a guide would make things more convenient.

"Do you know where in the Empire has the most slaves?"

"Oh, so Master wants slaves. I know a place."

"Four or five days' journey to the north, there's a small town where a large number of slave traders gather."

"But it's full of many vicious and evil people, so I usually don't go there."

"Alright, I understand."

Afterward, the group left the hotel.

After saying goodbye to Aicia, Draco led the girls toward Orel's location.

But once they were outside the city, Draco heard several loud 'Boom! Boom! Boom!' sounds.

"Oh no, something happened!"

When Draco arrived at the scene, he found a burly man fighting Orel.

The man's hair stood on end, and every punch he threw carried a terrifying gale, packed with immense power.

However, Orel was merely releasing magic barriers with nonchalance, easily blocking all the attacks.

Siz stood quietly to the side holding Eclair, clearly knowing that Orel's strength was so great that she didn't need their help at all.

"Who is this person?"

"A beastman? White hair? Could it be the White Tiger?"

"What is he doing here at the Empire's border?"

Draco rubbed his chin, lost in thought.

"Stay back a bit so you don't get caught in the crossfire."

After giving instructions to Shiro and the others behind him, Draco prepared to act.

Spatial Imprisonment!

With a wave of the staff in his hand, six spatial barriers instantly boxed in the White Tiger.

"He has backup?"

The White Tiger knew very well that the woman across from him had terrifying strength; he had no confidence at all in taking her down.

The sudden appearance of such a terrifying figure within the Empire made it hard for him not to have ominous thoughts.

He had originally thought of taking her down directly, but now that seemed like a pipe dream.

Seeing Draco appear, the White Tiger prepared to retreat first, even if this newcomer didn't look particularly strong.

"Tiger Roar Echoing Through the Wilderness!"

With a heaven-shaking roar, the terrifying tiger howl shattered Draco's Spatial Imprisonment.

The White Tiger spread his Tiger Wings and sped off into the distance.

Draco didn't intend to keep the man there either, as it would only lead to unnecessary trouble.

Walking up to Orel, he asked, "What's the deal with this guy?"

"My lord, as per your instructions, I have perfectly protected Siz and Eclair."

"As for this person, I do not know. After he arrived, he said something about an enemy nation invading."

"Then he started attacking us."

"To complete my protection mission, I did not strike back."

Draco understood.

If not for his orders, Orel's counterattack probably would have left the White Tiger dead or crippled.

"Hmm, well done."

"We shouldn't stay here long. Let's head back to Nazarick first."

"Yes!"

Just as Draco was about to activate Spatial Teleportation Magic to take everyone back.

The sound of horse hooves suddenly came from behind.

Draco was taken aback and muttered to himself, "Could it be reinforcements called by the White Tiger?"

He quickly dismissed the thought.

Because the newcomers were too weak.

About twenty or thirty armored soldiers came galloping on warhorses and subsequently surrounded Draco's group.

"Hahaha! Listen up! Someone reported that you stole wheat seeds from the City Lord's Mansion."

"I suggest you hand them over obediently, otherwise... hehehe..."

Seeing so many beautiful girls present, the soldiers' eyes were filled with lewd and greedy expressions.

They knew very well that even if these people handed over the items, they wouldn't survive the night.

The City Lord's order is to leave no survivors; not a single one can be let go.

If word of this gets out, it will affect the prestige of the City Lord.

Instead of just killing these delicate young girls, it would be better to let us have some fun with them first.

With such thoughts in mind, their laughter became even more unrestrained.

Draco now understood exactly who these people were.

"My Lord, do you need me to step in?"

Orel asked in a low voice.

"No need, I want to capture them alive. They'll make perfect gifts for Shalltear and Solution."

"Understood."

Hearing the two of them whispering, the lead soldier urged them impatiently.

"Kid, you're the leader, right?" Seeing Draco remain silent, the soldier thought he was scared and continued.

"Hmph, if you don't want to hand them over, that's fine too. Just let the boys here play with the little chick next to you, and I might turn a blind eye and let you go."

"Don't say I didn't give you a chance, otherwise..."

Before the soldier could finish, Draco interrupted him.

"Truly the speech of a small-time lackey."

"Sigh, if you must blame someone, blame your City Lord."

Thinking of the scene where these people would be tortured to death by Shalltear and Solution, Draco decided to be a bit gentler with them.

"Sleep!"

*Thud!* x27

A simple Sleep spell caused these men to tumble off their horses one after another.

"There are quite a few of them; looks like I'll have to make a few trips."

As Draco spoke, he had Orel stay behind to watch over them.

Meanwhile, he used Spatial Transfer to send the girls back to the entrance of Nazarick first.

After a few back-and-forth trips, everyone had been teleported back.

(Albedo, is Solution back yet?)

(Master, you're finally back! I missed you so much...)

(Let's talk business. Have Solution and Shalltear come to the entrance; I brought them some gifts.)

(G-Gifts? For Shalltear...)

(I brought something for you too.)

(I'm coming right now.)
