While looking at my reflection in the mirror. I saw some mark on my neck. i looked closely. I was shocked, that's love bite. I tried to recall.
I remembered I danced with Nick. Then I went to the bar and drank.
After that I remembered nothing. I suddenly recall something.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" This words were spoken by someone. But who.
Is it Nick?
I sat on my knee while holding my head in my hand.
I recalled everything. I recalled everything about last night which gave me butterfly.
I was thinking about that meanwhile someone rang the door ring. I opened my hair and spread on the neck. Then went to open the door. I assumed it must be Nick. But when I opened the door, Nick was not there. In fact, Jack was there. I was disappointed. He also noticed it and asked, " are you waiting for someone."
I lied," no".
He knew I was lying but he didn't give a fuck. He came close to me and hug me.
I startled. I asked, " what happen".
It was my gut feeling, a bad news is about to come.
He said, " Someone file a complaint about our bakery last night."
" What", I was in shock.
Police came at bakery shop and do investigation and also took the samples.
Jack told me full matter, " Yesterday, a boy fell ill after eating our cake. He is in serious condition now. "
I asked, " when did it happened, and who is that boy. We never compromise with the quality. Then how it can happen and why didn't you inform me before.
Jack replied, " even I am not getting it what happened and we tried to reach you many time but you didn't pick the call. That's why I came here to pick you to visit that boy."
I checked my phone; there were many calls from Jack. but he is in blocked contact. That's why, phone didn't ring. I tried to call when did I blocked him, but my mind is blank yet.
Jack said, " We have a good news also. We saw the cctv footage, the boy was fine at the bakery shop and also there is no case other than this boy.
I replied, " Let's first checked that boy, then we will see what to do."
I changed my cloth, then me and Jack left for the hospital.
We met that boy's parents, they were worried too much. His mum was crying a lot. That kid was in ICU.
I went to the parents. They recognised me at once, his mom frowned at me.
She asked in a loud voice, "What are doing her? if something happened to my baby I will not leave you."
I tried to speak but she didn't let me. Meanwhile doctor came out of the ICU.
He told the parents. Their child is stable now. I sighed in relief. Doctor said, "After half an hour, he will come in his conscience, you can meet him after that."
I asked to the doctor, " What happen to him."
Ther doctor said, " He has fatal allergy with egg."
I look toward Jack. We had never do such mistakes. We never mixed any order. Then how it can happen.
I asked Jack to check the cctv again. We were about to leave the hospital. Suddenly I noticed Nick there. He was roaming in the corridor in the stress.
He also saw me. I told jack to go first then I walked toward him. He also.
He came close to me hugged me tightly. I felt something is wrong. I asked.
He told me his dad had heart attack early in the morning.
Oh God, why is bad thing happening since morning. I tried to calm him and gave water to him.
I noticed everyone's gaze upon me. But I didn't pay attention to them.
After some time, doctor came out from operation theatre. He told, "Mr. Jonas is in stable condition. I felt relief again. Everyone also in relief now. Nick hugged his mum, then he hugged me.
He said, " Thank u"
I looked at him, why he is thanking me. Neither me did the operation nor I do anything else.
He understood my feelings and said , " thank you for being with me."
Suddenly I listen someone calling my name, I turned backside, It was Jack.
He came and hugged me. I got frightened, I was not ready for another bad news.
Even I didn't get it, Why everyone coming and hugging me and giving me bad news only.
I told Jack, " Please don't give me any bad news."
Jack looked at me and said, " Idiot, it's a good news. That boy's family took the complaint back. That was boy's mistake. He asked for egg cake instead of eggless. "
I got excited. In excitement, I kissed on Jack's cheek and said, " I love you Jack, You are the great."
and I hugged him back.
Suddenly I feel someone's intense gaze upon my back. That's Nick. I looked at him. His eyes were red. He was angry. But why.
Then I remembered , I kissed Jack. Is he Jealous?
He was looking at Jack like he is going to kill him.
