Covie put everyone down on the ground. And sighed in relief.
"Anyone hurted and need a little healing? " asked Covie.
"Nah thanks, we're all good. " said Albur.
"Congratulations gang, we got the cobalt access." said Johnson.
"Yeah, 5 more colors to go! That should be pretty easy." said Mysty.
"I don't think so, some upgrade station may be far far away from our current location, we better keep going first. " said Johnson.
Albur looked around in the building ruins, he decided to take one of the old spotlights with him, but suddenly he noticed something in the sky.
"Hey, guys? What's that in the sky? " asked Albur.
Johnson, Mysty and Covie looked at that direction. Johnson zoomed in using his cyborg powers. And he saw a squad of spaceships approaching.
"Oh....."
"Uh uh! Language ! Shushie! " Covie covered Johnson's mouth. He quickly removed Covie's arms.
"They sent patrollers here ! It must've been the squad of glitches just now who notified them! " said Johnson.
"Then do we fight them? " asked Mysty.
"I think we better fight when necessary, save some energy, plus they might sent even more powerful patrol teams if we fight them. " said Johnson.
The gang decided to sneak away from the glitches. They get away from the TV station and slowly sneak past the patrol team. They eventually arrived at the center of the city. Just as they sigh in relief, out of no where, a growling sound was heard near them.
"Careful! There might be something here!" Johnson pulled out his minigun.
"They found us already? "Mysty took out her twin pistols.
"Uh.... sorry, its my stomach...." chuckled Albur.
Mysty and Johnson looked at Albur.
"Bro what's going on with your stomach.... it growled like a tiger." asked Johnson.
"I'm a little hungry....." said Albur.
"Not gonna lie I am a little too, after that battle." said Mysty.
"Oops, uh, master? My battery is running low! 10 % battery remaining. " said Covie.
"Hmm.... if everyone is tired and hungry, let's have a rest first, since now its near dusk, the journey might be dangerous at night." Johnson suggested the gang to rest for today and get to the other upgrade stations tomorrow. He then looked around and found a supermarket nearby. The gang entered the supermarket, surprisingly, the things inside the market are overall in good condition.
"Damn, the things inside here are not destroyed! " exclaimed Albur.
"I suggest we grab more food and water here, since we don't know when will the next supermarket appear in our journey later." said Johnson.
The gang grabbed some food and mineral water and gathered them in a box. Johnson also took some batteries for Covie and himself.
"And..... I think that's it right? " asked Mysty.
"Hold on a second, one more thingy needed! " Covie took out a small box.
"Wait, you brought the spare moon hut as well? " asked Johnson.
"Yeah, like you said, be as sneaky as possible! " laughed Covie.
Covie set up the moon hut which is invisible from the outside. The others took all of their resources and entered the hut. Covie set up 3 rooms for everyone and placed a table in the middle of the hut.
"And with all of these set, we can call it a day !" Albur stretched his limbs.
"Tomorrow we will set off to get to the Sky upgrade station. " said Johnson.
"But we don't know where is it right? How are we gonna get there? " asked Mysty.
"Wait yeah, that's a problem...." murmured Johnson.
"By the way, master? Should we get the three password keys first? Like we can get the Cobalt access just because the two of us are Cobalt so we can give Albur and Mysty access to upgrade! " said Covie.
"Oh wait, yeah! We do have to get those three keys first ! " said Johnson
"Then where should we get them then ? " asked Albur.
"Hmm... I think we can find them in the Information Centre, of our country. I guess you all knew that our country have one information center right? If I'm not wrong, maybe we can get the three password keys there and as well as get the map to the remaining access upgrades. " said Johnson.
"Ok then, so tomorrow we will set off to the Information Centre ."said Mysty.
"Guys, can we eat now? The food is getting cold. " said Albur.
"Isn't it cold at the start? " asked Johnson.
"Well then, let's eat ! " said Mysty.
Everyone grabbed their own food and started eating. But Johnson straight up just entered his room without having anything.
"Hey Covie, what's wrong with Johnson? " asked Albur.
"He doesn't need to eat, he already have some bottles of apple juice. Eating isn't necessary for him. " said Covie.
"What, what do you mean ? " asked Mysty.
"Well he can convert apple juice into electricity, and as well as fulfilling his human organs with organic food. Not to mention that apple juice is also his favourite drink." explained Covie.
"I see.... you know quite a lot of him huh ? " asked Albur.
"You could say I am the second person who knows him the most. Since his parents left him 7 years ago. " said Covie.
"What? Really? Why ? " asked Mysty.
" I don't know. He is already 18 that time, so he can live by himself, but that's tough just by imagining." said Covie.
"Yeah... he said he only have a part time job that time. That must be very tough....." said Albur.
"Is this what he was hiding all along?" asked Mysty.
Covie shrugged. And ate her last battery.
"By the way why do you keep covering his mouth during that journey?" asked Albur.
"Well, as the best assistant of him, I had to stop him from saying things too bad. You know? Hehe." giggled Covie.
"He got anger issues huh." said Mysty.
"Although he is harsh and kinda emotionless, but he actually really cares about every single person surrounding him. By the way, I think there's too much discussing on master, what about the two of you? What are y'all's past?" asked Covie.
"Nothing special, I was just a normal person, same like every other ordinary office workers, just doing a boring job." said Albur.
"What do you work as?" asked Covie.
"A news reporter of New News, but the boss in extremely not good and stingy, but I can't blame that, I have pretty low grades at school, the only things I was good at are things involving talking and speaking. But those don't really help. When I was 18 where I just got out from secondary school. I have no choice but to college since I can't find any job. And when I was 23, I got the job as a news reporter and started my boring career life. But what could I say? Not focusing on learning results like this." sighed Albur.
"Oh... ok....." murmured Covie.
"I am actually also a normal person, just, I am a little girl who really love adventures and unravelling mysteries. Sometimes I even put my life in danger just to satisfy my curiosity. My grades are ok, but I really don't have a career dream. So I opened a channel on social media and I put a comment slot that people can give mysteries they were curious about and I will go explore them to satisfy their curiosity and also mine. I actually enjoy it since I can earn and also unravel hunch and bunch of mysteries." said Mysty.
"Huh, interesting." said Covie.
"What about you Covie?" asked Albur.
"I was created 4 years ago, by my master, I am an assistant drone of him, and I am also a R.E.C.O.V.E.R. drone so I can heal him and aid him from injuries and sicknesses. I can also become a transmission bot, you just connect your watch or computer on me and i will show your face and your voice like a transmission television. I originally only have my helicopter propeller, my round body and my LED screen, but master gave me two strong and flexible robot arms so I can help lifting things and also save people from situations like just now. " said Covie.
"Won't you feel bored of this job ?" asked Albur.
"No, not really, I actually kinda like this job, like when I see my master smile, I think, he rarely present any emotion, I just use my imagination. I just feel happy and satisfied." said Covie.
"That's really cheesy, not gonna lie." said Albur.
"She's just four years old, how could she say anything dramatic." said Mysty.
"He actually also treated me like his family, just sometimes when I accidentally touched his bottom line he will be a bit fierce. I can understand that though." said Covie.
Albur started to laugh, but he held it back.
"Forgive me.... its a bit too cheesy ....." Albur laughed.
Mysty slapped Albur on the back.
"Should we go sleep now? We still have a long journey tomorrow." asked Covie.
"Ok then, let's go to sleep." said Mysty.
Albur stood up and started walking to his room. Before he was about to go into his room, he noticed that Johnson's room door is opened and the lights are still on, he took a small peek into Johnson's room. He saw that he wasn't asleep, he was still holding a tablet, seemingly planning things. Albur thought for a second.
"Psst." Albur made a signal.
Johnson looked at him, Albur signalled that Covie is coming, Johnson thought for a second, and gave him an OK sign, he then quickly kept his tablet and closed the lights. Albur then walked back into his room, closed the lights and fell asleep.
