Jay stood in the middle of the hallway, fingers twisting nervously, voice small and unsure. "Um… I just wanted to ask… would it be a problem… if Keifer and I aren't married yet… and we have a child?"
Keizer froze for a second and then burst into warm laughter. "Oh my God, Jay…"
Serina laughed softly and walked closer, cupping Jay's cheeks with gentle hands. "You are really too innocent for this family."
Keigan grinned at her. "You seriously thought that would be a problem?"
Keiren shook his head, laughing quietly. "That's the cutest question I've ever heard."
Karim laughed openly, eyes full of warmth. "We were worried about so many things… and this is what you were carrying in your heart?"
Karina smiled at Jay, soft and sincere. "Sweetheart… a child is never a mistake in this family."
John laughed lightly, voice calm and reassuring. "Marriage is a ceremony. Family is already here."
Jenne smiled with emotional eyes. "You are already our daughter."
Kia giggled. "Jay is really too pure."
Sofia covered her mouth while laughing softly. "I can't believe she was scared of this."
Keifer laughed under his breath and then stepped in front of Jay, holding her hands firmly, his voice gentle and steady. "Why would you even think like that, Jay?"
Jay's eyes widened, cheeks burning with embarrassment. "I just… didn't want to be a problem for anyone."
Keifer smiled softly and brushed his thumb over her knuckles. "You are never a problem."
Keizer looked at her with pride and emotion. "You already belong here, Jay. Married or not."
Serina pulled Jay into a tight hug. "And that baby will belong here even more."
Jay's eyes filled with tears. "Really…?"
Everyone laughed together, their voices warm and full of love. "Really."
Keifer leaned closer to her, his voice low and affectionate. "You and our child… you're already my family."
