Chapter 100 - Weekend Chaos

Nothing happened for the rest of the week.

No new pranks.

No new drama.

No professors calling his name.

Alexander almost thought Hogwarts had finally calmed down.

Then the weekend arrived and with it—

Gryffindor vs. Slytherin Quidditch.

Alexander had originally planned a peaceful Saturday.

Spell refinement.

Barrier layering practice.

Maybe even a nap.

But those plans died the moment the Weasley twins showed up.

They practically dragged him out of the tower.

Cho came along willingly.

She didn't mind at all—she was scouting competition, watching flying techniques and team coordination with sharp eyes.

Alexander, on the other hand…

Couldn't care less.

He sat in the Gryffindor stands beside Cho, half-slouched, looking like he'd rather be anywhere else.

"I could be refining Protego spell right now…" he muttered.

Cho ignored him completely, eyes locked on the field.

"Look at that turn speed."

"…Mhm."

"And their Chaser formation is sloppy."

"…Yep."

"And Harry's acceleration is improving."

That finally got Alexander to look up.

He observed quietly.

Harry was actually doing well.

Surprisingly well for a first year.

His control, balance, and reaction time were far above average.

Alexander nodded slightly.

"Not bad."

Cho kept commenting on every maneuver.

Alexander just agreed and nodded while watching in silence.

Then—

Harry's broom jerked violently.

Once.

Twice.

Then it began bucking wildly.

The crowd gasped.

Cho leaned forward.

"What's happening?!"

Alexander's eyes narrowed.

He didn't look at Harry.

He looked at the stands.

Specifically—

Quirrell.

Muttering a spell.

Eyes locked on Harry.

Then—

Snape.

Also staring intensely, lips moving.

Alexander observed for a few seconds.

Then he noticed movement below.

Hermione rushing down from the stands toward the Slytherin section.

He glanced back at Cho.

"I'll be right back."

Before she could ask, he was already moving.

He found Peeves nearby taking photos.

"Hey."

Peeves spun mid-air, grinning.

"Young Master Chen~"

Alexander spoke quickly.

"Take photos of Snape and Quirrell. Right now. Then get ready for the Gryffindor celebration."

No questions.

Peeves saluted dramatically and vanished.

Under the bleachers—

Hermione crawled through the supports until she was beneath Snape's seat.

She pulled out her wand.

Muttered a spell.

Fire burst onto the hem of Snape's robes.

Snape suddenly jumped.

Flames licking upward as he stomped frantically, flailing his arms.

In the chaos—

His hands slammed into Quirrell.

Hard.

Quirrell lost balance, falling backward—

CRACK.

The back of his head hit the wooden stand.

At that exact moment—

Harry's broom stabilized.

He regained control instantly.

Moments later—

He caught the Snitch.

Gryffindor Wins.

The stadium erupted.

Cheers.

Shouting.

Fireworks exploding in the sky.

As the team flew down to celebrate, enchanted fireworks burst overhead spelling:

CONGRATULATIONS GRYFFINDOR

By dinner, the celebration was still going strong.

The Gryffindor table was the loudest in the Great Hall.

Singing.

Cheering.

Retelling the match a hundred times.

Alexander ate calmly beside Cho.

Then Peeves appeared silently beside him.

He dropped a stack of photos onto the table.

Perfect shots.

Snape on fire.

Snape stomping.

Snape flailing.

Quirrell mid-fall.

Also Gryffindor highlights and celebration photos.

Peeves bowed and vanished again before anyone noticed.

Alexander quickly pocked the Snape and Quirrell photos.

Picked up the Gryffindor photos and walked over to the twins.

Handed them the stack—along with a couple vials of the potion.

"Here. Your photos and potion."

They flipped through them.

George with a big smile on his face.

Fred wiping fake tear and said.

"You're such a great friend."

Alexander shrugged.

"Turn them into enchanted photos yourselves."

The twins saluted dramatically.

"Thank you!"

Mission accomplished, Alexander returned to his seat beside Cho.

Dinner resumed.

Celebrations roared.
