Thanksgiving dinner at Hogwarts was always lively.
But this year it was unforgettable.
Because Alexander and the Weasley twins had plans.
The Great Hall was packed.
Golden plates filled with roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, pies, and every festive dish imaginable.
Students laughed and talked loudly, enjoying the holiday feast.
Then—
The doors slammed open.
BANG.
Alexander and the twins burst inside dramatically.
They looked panicked.
Disheveled.
Out of breath.
"The turkeys!" Fred screamed.
"They're coming!" then George shouted.
Alexander pointed behind them in terror.
"The turkeys are attacking!"
Students froze—
Then laughter started.
But it didn't last long.
Because stomping footsteps echoed behind them.
A giant fake turkey waddled into the Great Hall.
Towering.
Gobbling loudly.
Behind it—
An entire army of fake turkeys.
Regular-sized enchanted ones.
Hundreds.
They charged forward, flapping wings and gobbling aggressively.
Students shrieked, half laughing, half startled as the turkey army flooded the hall.
Before panic could spread—
A cold wind swept through the room.
Ghostly war cries echoed.
Nearly Headless Nick led the charge—
Followed by a full ghostly army.
They rushed straight into the turkey horde.
Spectral swords clashed with enchanted feathers.
Turkeys were sent flying across tables.
Students roared with laughter and cheers as the "battle" unfolded.
Alexander and the twins weren't done.
They raised their wands.
Nearby armor suits rattled—
Then came to life.
Helmets snapped forward.
Swords drawn.
The enchanted knights marched into battle beside the ghosts.
Metal clashed against enchanted beaks.
One armor suit tackled a giant turkey to the ground.
Another swung a halberd, sending three smaller turkeys spinning away.
The hall erupted in cheers.
After several glorious minutes—
The turkey army began retreating.
Running toward the doors.
Nearly Headless Nick floated forward heroically and raised his sword.
"Victory!"
The hall exploded in applause.
Students stood, cheering and clapping loudly.
Alexander and the twins bowed dramatically.
They deactivated the armor suits, returning them neatly to their positions.
House elves rushed in to help clean up the scattered fake turkeys, carrying them away efficiently.
The trio then casually walked back to their table—
As if nothing unusual had happened.
Some professors clapped along with the students, many laughing openly.
Alexander stood briefly.
"Thank you, everyone. Photos will be sold later by the twins."
Cheers rang out again.
During dinner, Alexander was informed that the Headmaster wanted to see him.
Alexander approached the stone gargoyle.
"Hello again."
The statue moved aside, letting him pass.
He entered the office—
But didn't look at the Headmaster first.
His eyes went straight to the corner.
He ran over.
Stopped.
Looked again.
The Sorting Hat was missing.
He crouched slightly to double-check.
Behind him, the Headmaster chuckled.
"Mr. Chen, he's not here. We sent him for repairs… and a few upgrades from an old friend."
Alexander shamelessly turned around and walked to the chair.
He sat in the chair across from the desk.
"I just wanted to make sure he was doing fine, and whether my educational lesson paid off."
The Headmaster chuckled again.
Then he spoke calmly.
"If you place first again this year… you may keep the troll."
Alexander's eyes lit slightly.
"I've already spoken to Mr. Scamander. He says you're qualified to care for it. His briefcase can house a troll comfortably."
"Great," Alexander said. "Make sure you take care of it for me until the end of the school year, Headmaster."
The Headmaster smiled.
"I've also heard from Professor Flitwick. Your spellwork is exceptional, and you've been teaching Ravenclaw students in the evenings."
Alexander sighed.
"I don't want to. They keep asking. Cho keeps agreeing. There's nothing I can do."
"That's wonderful," the Headmaster said.
Alexander narrowed his eyes slightly.
"Starting tomorrow, you'll lead the new Dueling Club. Professor Flitwick will supervise. You'll use the Great Hall."
Alexander froze.
"…No."
"Then no troll."
Silence.
Alexander stared at him.
Thinking one word:
Shameless.
"Fine," he said. "But no more detentions for me this year. Only point deductions. And I want a picture with you at the end of the school year."
"Deal," the Headmaster said. "But why the picture?"
"My family and I are going back to the U.S. for a month. I want to show it off. Star Student and Strongest Wizard. Looks good together."
The Headmaster laughed warmly.
"Anything else?" Alexander asked.
"No, Mr. Chen. You are a fine wizard. Hogwarts is happy to have you."
"You should be," Alexander replied, standing. "Well, Headmaster, I should get back."
As he reached the door—
The Headmaster added:
"I do enjoy the shows you put on. They make Hogwarts more lively."
Alexander turned slightly.
"No worries. I think this castle needs more fun than traditions."
Then he left.
Alone in the office, the Headmaster laughed aloud.
"Yes… having an energetic student like you… may be exactly what Hogwarts needs."
