Chapter 3 - The shadow king's first dance

The Void-Demon was a nightmare of obsidian flesh and glowing purple eyes, easily fifty feet tall. It roared, a sound that cracked the stadium's reinforced glass. Students were screaming, tripping over each other to reach the exits.

The teachers were frozen. This wasn't a training exercise; it was an execution.

But Dante? He was just putting on his mask.

It was a simple, jet-black mask that covered the upper half of his face, leaving only his arrogant, smirking mouth visible.

As he stepped forward, he didn't run. He walked.

'One percent,' Dante thought. 'If I use more, I'll take the whole city with it.'

"Who is that?!" the Principal yelled from the sidelines. "A student?! Get him out of there!"

Dante didn't listen. In a flash of black lightning, he was gone. He reappeared directly in front of the beast's central eye.

"You're loud," Dante said, his voice cold and echoing. "And you're ugly. My father's hounds have more grace than you."

The demon lashed out with a clawed tentacle. Dante didn't dodge. He caught it. With one hand.

The impact should have flattened a mountain. Instead, Dante didn't move an inch. He gripped the fleshy limb, and the sound of bone shattering filled the arena.

With a casual jerk, he swung the entire fifty-foot monster over his shoulder and slammed it into the arena floor.

CRACK.

The ground turned into a crater.

In the VIP box, Seraphine's hands were shaking so hard she had to hide them in her sleeves. She watched as the "lazy student" turned into a god of destruction.

But it was Lilith who was truly enjoying the show. The demoness was practically purring, her tongue tracing her lips as she watched Dante's muscles flex under his uniform.

Dante landed on the demon's chest. He raised his hand, and a blade of pure, condensed Chaos energy formed in his palm. It didn't glow—it sucked the light out of the air.

"Go back to the Void," Dante whispered.

"Tell them the Prince is awake."

He plunged the blade down. There was no explosion. Just a silent, terrifying erasure.

The demon disintegrated into ash, leaving nothing behind but a scorched mark on the sand.

Dante stood in the center of the crater, the wind whipping his hair. He looked up at the VIP box, locked eyes with the invisible Seraphine for a heartbeat, and then... he vanished.

Ten minutes later, Dante was in a secluded, dimly lit stone hallway leading to the dorms. He had ditched the mask, but the "arrogant" aura was still rolling off him in waves.

Suddenly, a pair of warm, soft arms wrapped around his waist from the shadows. A familiar, scandalous scent of cherries and musk filled his nose.

"Oh, My Prince..." Lilith's voice was a ragged moan against his neck. "That was... so much better than I expected. The way you broke that beast? I'm practically melting."

Dante didn't turn around. He leaned back into her, feeling her heavy breasts pressing against his spine. "I thought I told you to wait, Lilith."

"I couldn't," she whimpered, her hands sliding under his shirt, her cold rings scratching lightly against his hot, ripped abs. "Seraphine is back in her temple, praying to her 'Father' to keep her heart from racing. But I? I'm not a coward."

She spun him around, her eyes glowing a deep, lustful crimson. She was already half-undressed, the black silk of her gown hanging precariously off one shoulder.

"She's the 'main prize,' isn't she?" Lilith whispered, her hand moving down to the bulge in his trousers, her eyes widening at what she felt. "You want to break the Angel. But let me be your toy until then.

Let me show you how a Demon Queen serves her Master."

Dante grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up. His thumb brushed over her bottom lip. "You're very bold for a girl who was just shaking in the shadows."

"I'm bold because I know what I want," she breathed, her hand tightening. "And right now, I want to see if your 'Chaos' can handle my 'Abyss.'"

Dante smirked, his eyes dark and predatory. He pushed her back against the stone wall, his body pinning her there.

"Fine. But remember, Lilith... once I start, I don't stop until I'm satisfied. And I'm very, very hard to satisfy."

Lilith's legs wrapped around his waist, her head tossing back in a moan as his hand finally moved to her thigh.

"Then don't stop," she begged. "Make me forget my own name."

"Dante's mouth crashed onto hers, a kiss that tasted like power and hunger. As his hand reached for the hem of her silk dress, the screen faded to a dark, pulsing purple.
