5 years later in the year 1005AD
5 years after birth Damien and Subi hit the age of 5, Subi being 1 week older. During this time Elara and Kira have hardly seen each other.
King Roderick Ashbourne's Training
While the king was looking for an Heir out of his children, he continued training them in bow, sword, shield and many more types of weapons. The oldest brother who is age 23 is exceptional with a blade, King Roderick is thinking on making him the Heir.
King Roderick Ashbourne has curly brown hair down enough to cover the back of his neck. He was aged in the late 40's.
1 Week Later
One week passes and everyone greet the Kings return from battle like everyone always does. This time was different because one of the men stops the king in the middle of the road Infront of everyone.
"It's wrong to go after multiple women! It's also wrong to beat your male slaves!" The man rambles on and on about complaints.
The king raises his hand then holds it out toward the man, straight after the soldiers behind him started advancing toward the man. One drew his blade and cut the man's head off. They continue riding through everyone as if nothing had happened. Everyone was disgusted.
3 days pass
In the king's room a slave woman in kneeling toward the king begging to see her child again. Her child was with the king so they would be in training. The king refused and she continued to beg. The king signaled the same signal used on that other man and soldiers surrounded her. She sat up and apologized multiple times begging for her life but one of the soldiers cut her head off.
"Bring me some wine slaves or that will be you." The King demands urgently.
"You just killed a woman you had a child with!" Another woman who had a child with the king speaks out loud.
"I want her head too" The king demands without mercy.
"WHAT NO!!!!" The lady yells and begs for her life but her head is cut off along with the other lady.
4 Years pass in the year 1009AD
Damien and Subi are 9 and are helping their parents with slave work. Damien had blonde hair and blue eyes. Subi had Black hair and Brown eyes. Damien and Subi would always do things as a duo and be best of friends. Kira and Elara were laughing with each other and catching up.
"You were right Kira, having a child is wonderful. I can't believe I actually have one" Elara speaks with joy.
"I know right" Kira says and follows up with a smile.
Damien and Subi are taking turns cutting wood in half until the King approached them.
"You useless slaves shouldn't be enjoying yourself" King Roderick speaks without mercy in his voice. Elara and Kira apologize and the king kicks Damien in the ribs causing him to be thrown backwards and hitting the ground curled into a ball coughing out blood.
Elara flinches while looking at the ground trying not to interfere because she was terrified.
"Don't kick children!' Kira yelled and stood up toward the King.
The king grabs Kira's hair and throws her to the ground face first.
"That's where a slave should belong, in the dirt" The king speaks in disappointment.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU! YOU BASTARD! YOUR NO FATHER! YOUR A COWARD!" Subi yells at the king then charging toward him.
The king knees Subi in the face causing him to be knocked back with blood coming from his nose.
"Stop it Subi!" Kira yells trying to get through to Subi
Subi ignores his surrounding and goes at the king again. This time Subi avoids the knee to the face and goes for the king's manhood. The king reacts quick and grabs Subi's arm then knocks him out from the back of his neck.
"I will be taking Subi, he shows promise" The king says as he walks off dragging Subi by the arm while he's unconscious.
Kira tries to go after them but Elara grabs her wrist and shakes her head. Kira looks toward them and back at Kira then starts crying.
The King's training
Subi is forced to practice his agility and speed before using a blade but Subi pushes through due to his hatred.
5 months pass
5 Months Later Subi started using a blade in a sparring match with the king. Subi swung his sword in multiple directions trying to kill the king. The king responds to this by swinging his sword fast with force toward Subi's sword knocking Subi's sword far away then following with a kick to Subi's ribs sending him rolling backward.
"Still so weak" The king says in disgust.
2 Years pass in the Year 1011AD
The title of Heir would go to Subi who then declined and tries passing it over too Damien but the king declines.
Later that day Subi gets freedom to walk around the village. Subi has his sword on his left side of his waist.
Subi and Damien run into each other in the middle of the village. Subi had his sword and Damien was carrying wood.
"Subi?" Damien speaks like he said it unconsciously.
"Damien?" Subi answers in the same manor.
"Wait up Dami-" Elara stops before she could finish and yells behind her to Kira.
"Kira It's Subi! Hurry!" Elara runs up to Subi. Kira follows
They question Subi after Kira gives her son a long hug. Subi explains what had happened and that he is the Heir. Subi explains how he doesn't want it and how much he loathes the king.
