Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 new journey

Jay's POV (Getting Into Keifer's Car)

I stepped out of the house, bag in hand, and froze for a moment as I saw Keifer leaning against his sleek car, that confident smile of his in place. My heart raced.

"Ready, Jay?" he asked, opening the door for me.

"Yes…" I whispered, stepping in. The butterflies in my stomach were doing somersaults.

He shut the door behind me and slid into the driver's seat. The engine purred to life, and we began driving. The city passed by in a blur of morning light and buzzing streets, but all I could focus on was him.

Keifer Teases Jay

He glanced at me, one eyebrow raised. "You're awfully quiet. Thinking about your big move?"

"Maybe," I said, trying to sound casual. My cheeks warmed.

"Or maybe you're just nervous because I might tease you all the way there," he said with a smirk.

"Impossible," I said quickly, pretending to sound confident. "I'm totally prepared for this…"

He laughed, a low, teasing sound that made my heart skip. "Uh-huh. Sure. We'll see about that, 'prepared' girl."

I rolled my eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at my lips. Every time he looked at me like that, it was impossible to stay serious.

Moments of Sweetness

After a few quiet minutes, he reached over, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "Jay," he said softly, "I promise, everything's going to be perfect. You and me… this is just the beginning."

I felt my chest tighten. "I know," I whispered. "I'm ready… as long as you're with me."

He smiled, his fingers gently resting on mine. "Always."

The rest of the ride was filled with quiet chatter, soft laughter, and the occasional teasing remark from him, making the morning fly by. Every moment with him felt effortless, like the world had shrunk to just the two of us in that car.Jay's POV (Nervous Arrival)

The car finally slowed to a stop in front of Keifer's house. My heart was pounding, excitement mixing with a little nervousness. This was really happening—I was moving in with him.

I took a deep breath, holding my bag tightly. "Okay… I can do this," I whispered to myself.

Keifer chuckled beside me. "Relax, Jay. It's just my home… well, not just mine. But it'll feel like yours soon enough."

I gave him a small, nervous smile. "I hope so…"

Warm Welcome

Keifer rang the doorbell, and within seconds, the door swung open. Two energetic boys stood there with huge smiles.

"Welcome, Ate Jay!" they both shouted in unison.

I blinked, taken aback by the energy. Then they ran forward and threw their arms around me in a huge hug.

Mark Kegian Watson, 16 years old, lifted me slightly off the ground in his hug. "Finally! We've been waiting for you!"

Mark Kieran Watson, 10 years old, jumped up and hugged my legs. "Ate Jay! You're here! This is so exciting!"

I laughed, my nervousness melting away as their enthusiasm wrapped around me like a warm blanket. "Wow… you two are energetic!" I said, hugging them back.

Keifer watched with a soft smile, clearly enjoying the moment. "See? Told you there's nothing to be nervous about," he said, resting a hand on my shoulder.

I looked around at the house, feeling a mix of awe and comfort. This was my new home… and I wasn't alone. Not with Keifer by my side, and not with these adorable little brothers greeting me like family already.
