A strong wave of perfume drifted into Fabian's nose, and he frowned without meaning to.
Ashley was beautiful. There was no denying that. That was exactly why he had chosen her among so many women in the first place.
But ever since he returned to the country, her temper had started to irritate him more and more. It felt like she had become even more overbearing than before. Even the perfume she wore now seemed too strong, almost suffocating.

Whether it was back when they were studying together or even now, Vivian always carried a faint, clean scent with her. It came from the soap she used. The fragrance was light and simple, barely noticeable, yet somehow refreshing.

The more Fabian looked at Ashley, the more annoyed he felt. Without hesitation, he pushed her away from his lap.
"I still have a meeting," he said coldly. "If you're tired, you can stay here for a while. Just close the door when you leave."
