Noah was silent for a moment before he understood what Finnick meant.
"Are you referring to the incident involving Ms. William two years ago?" he asked carefully.
"Yes."
Noah nodded slightly. "It's been quite a long time since that happened, so it's taking longer to investigate."
Finnick's gaze remained calm. "Start by looking into Fabian. He recently received an email connected to that incident."
"Understood."
Finnick's long fingers tapped lightly against the armrest of his wheelchair as he stared out of the car window, deep in thought.
Anyone who dared to harm his woman would pay for it.
No matter who they were.
At that moment, Fabian was walking out of the café. When Finnick's eyes landed on him, a cold glint flashed across his gaze.
From what he had heard before, Fabian had already moved on from Vivian and was preparing to marry someone else. Yet today, Fabian seemed unusually concerned about Vivian's life.
