After the meeting with Evander…eww, what a dramatic name, let's call him, leader. After meeting with him, I was shown to my room. A plain room with nothing but a mattress on the floor. That's good enough for me to be honest.
It was the break of dawn, and everyone was preparing to head to bed.
"Rest easy, we will have our first meeting tomorrow," Remen said to me before he left, the other's already long gone.
So they just let a stranger in that easily? Honestly i can't stop questioning the authenticity of this group. Anyway, now that it's done, I need to go see Bella. I'm sure she is waiting.
It took me about an hour to find my way outside. This place is a maze designed to confuse the enemy; I am not that enemy. Finding my way out was impossible. I was basically trapped. So I jumped out the window. As I don't know anyone's room, this was the only way. It worked very well.
In the open plain, I searched for Bella, but she was nowhere to be found. There aren't many places a creature of her size could hide.
"Bella!"
"Bella!"
I called for her, but there was no answer. "Where is she…"
As the morning sun broke through the clouds i was blinded even more. So I squinted, covering my eyes, but then I saw it. To the left of the house, an opening between the forest trees. There it has to be.
Pushing past the broken branches, I found a trail, and following it led me to my beloved.
"You know, I have always wondered why you leave no footprints." It's so strange, "Oh well," I shrugged.
The path I followed brought me to a small opening in the forest, where Bella was resting inside a cave. A massive cave with sharp crevices and rocks. Although she looked so cute resting inside, anyone else would freeze in horror.
Stroking her head, I said, "You're tired, huh? Get some rest. One of us has to."
She bellowed softly under her breath.
That's good, sleep tight. Sleep, something I wish I could do right now, but I can't. It's weird, I haven't eaten in almost a day, but I'm not hungry. I fought for my life, yet I don't even want to yawn.
It's this place, I..I don't know what to say. This is my life now; I just gotta live, I guess. Am I overstimulated? Is this what that means? Anyhow, I will sleep over here with Bella tonight and in the morning. Tomorrow or whenever I wake up, we will begin our new life.

That felt like a whole two days. I think I saw the sun rise and fall twice. This is the third time that it's up, or this is the third time I have opened my eyes since I went to sleep. Doesn't matter anyway.
I brushed and kissed bella then left for the base. Bella tried to follow, and I let her. Why stop her, right? She's part of us, and she isn't going on a rampage, so it should be fine. The mornings here had a smell, no, this place as a whole has a smell I can't seem to describe.
We arrived at the front of the base to find Yuna and Remen in pyjamas. Both were yawning, but Remen took the extra initiative to reach into his pants and scratch his balls. The act drew immediate disgust from Yuna.
"Ah…my bad," Remen said after catching her sharp glare.
I know he isn't done scratching.
"Finally decided to come back, huh?" Remen questioned as he held back a yawn, "We thought you were thinking of running off with that thing that thing….we'd have to hunt ya down–" he reached again for his crotch but caught himself mid act.
"No, no, I was merely missing my love, and I wasn't comfortable sleeping at a stranger's place," I said as I stretched and reached for my balls. "That's it, honestly."
"Oh, really now," Remen reached for his too, "but this forest is our backyard, you know that, right?"
"The forest is a home to everyone."
Yuna shook her head and left to go inside. "come we have a lot to discuss," she said before leaving. So bossy. However i failed to notice that she wore an oversized buttoned shirt that was, unfortunately, buttoned all the way up.
Still, her shorts, which complemented the top's sky-blue colour, exposed her fair legs. And her slightly messy hair gave her a nice charm. She looks good.
A small chuckle came from remen "It's so obvious."
"Aahh!"
I told Bella to wait for me, outside, obviously, then I left.
