Chapter 19 - Entrance Scene of Season 2!

In the classroom that had been turned into the shooting location, Gisha sat in one of the many seats of the makeshift class. The other seats in the classroom had been occupied by junior or background artists.

As for the supporting roles, there was a rookie actress named Teah Galin, playing the role of Gisha's best friend in this new school. She was sitting beside her, and in the previous scenes that were filmed already, she had been giving information about the school to Nataly, Gisha's character.

Currently, the director seemed to have exited the classroom after Mikhail entered and requested him to accompany him.

Gisha knew that the next scene was Aren's entrance scene, so she could guess that the director probably went to give instructions to Aren.

She hadn't seen Aren after their scene together in the finale episode, so she was excited and nervous to work alongside him again.

After Aren's scene had aired, she couldn't help but feel that her acting was like a beginner in front of him. The comparison was too stark.

It became even more painful after Dailen Shot praised Aren so openly on his channel.

Afterwards, her fans messaged her to work on her acting so she would not embarrass herself or her fans.

Meanwhile, the Ventage Fans had been criticizing her acting just because they couldn't find flaw in Aren's acting.

She couldn't help but turn serious after so much criticism. Even though she tried to hide it, she knew that she was the worst at acting among Leon and Aren.

Many comments even mentioned her as the weak link of the drama.

This forced her to take acting lessons under her agency. Her agency wasn't anything fancy. It could even be said to be just at its starting phase. Only influencers who had no idea about acting were signed with it.

She had signed 2 years ago, and since then, had been taking acting lessons.

Although she had starred in a drama before, however, only after To Your Heart did she gain any recognition as an actor.

The first drama she starred in went unnoticed, just dumped in the vast library of web dramas of the platform.

In the first season, she had thought that To Your Heart would have the same fate as her first drama; however, due to Leon's previous drama becoming a surprise hit, To Your Heart gained much-needed attention, gaining viewers.

However, it was only thanks to the gripping script of Cleo Morris that it got popular through word of mouth.

The director also had more than 2 decades of experience, refining the drama further.

However, the event that shot it to headlines was Aren's debut. Suddenly, To Your Heart was the talk of the industry, everyone being aware of it.

However, that popularity also brought pressure.

Gisha knew that she would be evaluated by the fans on her acting ability. If her acting was bad, she would be trolled ceaselessly.

To add more pressure to her already tense situation, she had to share screen with Aren, the one whose acting had been praised by Dailen Shot.

The contrast between their acting would make her look even worse than she already is.

Therefore, for the past month, she had been working on her role and acting ability.

Fortunately, Nataly was the character that she had already played in season 1, so she had a grasp on her. She just needed to improve upon what she already understood.

At this moment, the director and Mikhail returned to the classroom, beginning to give instructions to the crew and actors.

Gisha suddenly straightened. She was currently in a school uniform; her long, dark hair from the first season changed to short, shoulder-length hair.

She didn't cut her hair; instead, she wore a wig matching her original dark hair texture.

The long hair was her signature look, so she didn't want to ruin that.

Moreover, to fit in the character as a school senior, she had reduced her weight to look younger than she was in the first season.

"Lights!"

Director gave commands as the lights were focused on certain spots, especially towards Gisha and Teah, the actress playing her best friend.

"Camera!"

The cameras focused, one on the entrance door, one on Gisha's face, the other at the back of the room to capture the board and teacher, and some smaller cameras to focus on reactions of characters.

"Action!"

Clap—!

The actor playing the role of the teacher began to speak loudly as if teaching the class. The students paid attention to him, some writing as if taking notes.

However, subconsciously, they were waiting for the door to open. They knew that the scene was about Aren entering and taking a seat, not about them studying.

There was only so much that the director would keep in the final cut, so most of them knew that these empty scenes of them would get cut out.

The seconds seemed like minutes as they waited for the door to open, the tension rising in the room.

And then it happened.

The doorknob made a click sound and swung open, not too fast and not too slow; it was the optimal speed, as if the one opening it didn't have any worry or hurry.

Suddenly, everyone's gaze went towards the door, a natural reaction from the sound of the swinging door.

The teacher, who was writing something on the board, also stopped and turned his gaze at the man standing in a black leather jacket above his school uniform, right hand in pocket and the left hand returning to his pocket after he had just used it to open the door.

The teacher froze, along with everyone, staring at the door.

Gisha, Leah, and everyone's eyes widened in surprise and awe.

The man in front of them was... a piece of art, cool and handsome.

He emanated aura that seemed to belong to a king who ruled the entire place, as if no one was above him.

His face was a marvel, handsome... too handsome with a sharp jawline and chestnut brown eyes that seemed deep and mature. His hair, styled in a wolf cut, was smooth and radiant.

However, it was his lean and muscular frame that stole the attention. On top of that, the blue crystal necklace around his neck and the onyx crystal bracelet around his right wrist enhanced his aesthetic look even further.

Shin didn't speak or ask for permission to enter; he only looked at the teacher, and the teacher, as if jolting out of his reverie, nodded, giving him his permission.

Without any change in his expression, he swept his gaze through the classroom and calmly stepped inside with both hands in his pocket.

Without any hurried movement, he closed the door softly to not disturb the class.

Even though he was doing something as ordinary as closing the door, no one could take their eyes off of him.

With calm steps, he walked with straight yet relaxed posture, hands in his pocket, gaze deep and calm; however, even then, his steps resonated in the class.

Students didn't even dare to breathe loud in his presence.

This wasn't in script; this was just a natural reaction to the presence he emanated through just his gaze and body language.

The tension in the classroom was suddenly thick, and it remained like that until Shin took the third seat beside the window.

Teah was sitting two seats behind him, and Gisha sat beside Teah, getting a good view of Shin's right profile.

As Shin took a seat, the tension in the room disappeared, the teacher suddenly remembering to teach. He resumed writing on the board, teaching the class.

Shin paid attention to his teachings with a straight and calm posture; however, he didn't carry a bag like others, nor did he take notes.

"Cut—!"
