Chapter 5 - Gorj visits the demon king

"Now I will try my enslavement spell.""You are amazing, Abraham. You are truly amazing."

Hisham was praising Abraham excessively. Hisham was one of the members of this gang specialized in stealing other people's possessions.

The gang consisted of their leader Abraham, known as Abraham of the Left Hand, Abdullah, Hisham, and a woman called the demoness Clara.

Abraham was tall, dark-skinned, with black eyes filled with gloom. He was a sorcerer who used black magic to accomplish his interests, exceptional and known for his vile reputation. Both commoners and elites feared him and treated him with extreme caution.

As for Abdullah, he was a man in his twenties, of average height, fair-skinned, with black hair and an innocent-looking face that concealed a cunning fox. He was skilled at gambling and had inherited from his father three jinn creatures that obeyed his commands. He had killed more than one hundred people throughout his career using these jinn.

Hisham resembled his cousin Abraham except for the eyes. Unlike the latter, Hisham's eyes were innocent and naive. He was merely an ordinary thief skilled in hiding and infiltration. As for his career, he had robbed many palaces of the wealthy, caused the bankruptcy of many families, and led them to starve to death. He loved Abraham deeply and respected him greatly.

The demoness Clara appeared to be a woman in her twenties. Her eyes were purple, her hair was red, and her appearance was very beautiful. In reality, however, she was literally a demon. No one knew how she had reversed the cosmic laws in such a way as to obtain a body in the material dimension. She was a member of one of the largest demon groups in the astral world.

They were gathered at their headquarters, which was their communal home, known as the Eclipse Grotto. It was a beautiful house that had been well maintained. It contained four rooms and a very spacious central hall. It had four walls, each wall containing a magical altar for personal worship.

To the north was Abraham's altar, which contained bloody symbols, the remains of children's corpses, and inscriptions of the Babylonian triad: the Sun, the Moon, and Venus.

To the south was a modest altar with three wooden houses inside which were animal bones. This was Abdullah's altar, and these were the dwellings of the jinn creatures he had inherited from his father.

To the east was a beautiful altar containing artistic artifacts, sculptures, and other simple symbols. This was Hisham's altar, to which he did not pay much attention.

To the west was a table upon which a mirror was placed, surrounded by black candles. This was the gateway through which the demoness Clara traveled between the material world and the astral world.

– The gang was gathered in the Eclipse Grotto, and Abraham was preparing to test his new spell, which was a human enslavement spell.

– "Hisham, draw the blood circle on the ground."

After a few minutes, Hisham drew a circle of blood on the ground according to the orders.

Each member of the gang stood in a specific direction.

– "Prepare yourselves. I will summon my friends."And indeed, Abdullah released his jinn.

– "Give me three minutes."

The demoness Clara spoke in her feminine voice, waved her hand, and recited long incantations that took her three uninterrupted minutes.

A screen appeared in the center of the circle. It displayed a scene that was surprising to Hisham and the demoness Clara.

– "Who is this pathetic human?"– "Master Abraham, why did you choose the failed construction worker to enslave?"

The demon Gorj was inside a cave, standing before a strange gate. It was rectangular, approximately five meters tall and three meters wide.

"By the right of the lord of demons, the fallen angel Azazel, open your sacred passages for me. I am Gorj, the flying demon."

Indeed, the gate opened, emitting a mysterious purple light. Gorj stepped forward and entered the gate.

Immediately, the scene before him changed. The sky was red, the ground was black, and light emanated from volcanic lava lakes scattered throughout the area. Directly ahead of him was a tiled path on the ground, indicating that it led to some place.

The demon Gorj walked several kilometers until he reached a sky-blue door. He opened it and proceeded to find a room filled with candles everywhere and a mirror on the wall opposite the door. There was an extremely short old man with human features, but his legs resembled those of a pigeon, and he had long demonic horns.

The old man spoke:"Gorj, I have heard the news. The King of Hell has sent one of his jinn servants to monitor your dealings with those humans in the forbidden forest. You are truly a demon possessed of ancient fiery courage."

He fell silent briefly, then continued:"But do you know, those humans even had the audacity to negotiate with you with both honor and filth. One of them even threatened to cancel the contract if your work did not please them."

– "Hahaha, honestly, my old friend, those people were roaming the earth before the Flood. I personally do not know them, but I am certain they possess the ability to cause harm. Therefore, I was polite with them and did not dare attempt to deceive them more than once."– "I did not know that Gorj was a cowardly demon."– "What do you think about making a deal with them? They pay well—lots of gemstones and red mercury, my friend, hahaha."– "No. I like my job under the King of Demons… Now pay up. I will transport you immediately. I do not want to see your face."

Gorj threw a lapis lazuli stone in front of the old demon. He examined it briefly, then nodded for him to pass. Gorj entered the black mirror. Darkness enveloped him for several seconds until he appeared in a vast hall with a white throne at its center, constructed of human skulls. Sitting upon it was the King of Demons—who else would sit upon the throne?

Gorj knelt:"Greetings to Lord Azazel, King of Demons."
