the door creaked loudly as it swung inward. Ben and Alex froze, their eyes struggling to adjust to the darkness. As their eyes adjusted, they finally saw the figures standing before them.
One of the figures stepped forward. "My name is Ray. I am an elf," he said softly, his voice calm . "And this is my friend Liam." As he spoke, the shape beside him shifted, revealing a form that was part wolf, part human—a werewolf.
Liam nodded with a gentle smile. "Welcome to Sylvaria, home to all supernatural beings."
Alex's voice trembled as he asked, "Why are we here? And... What is that creature that was following us?"
Ray's expression grew serious. "The creature was a troll. It's been after the amulet."
Ben stepped closer, eyes wide. "The amulet? But what's so special about it? Ray nodded. "The amulet has been around for a very long time. It's powerful, Its true purpose is to choose a guardian—someone who will protect the world ."
Ben looked at the glowing amulet in his hand, confused. "So... it chose me?"
"yeah , I don't why it did that , it never choose human before" Ray said
Liam stepped forward. "Maybe the elders know more."
Just then, a shimmering staircase appeared . Liam turned and said to Ben and Alex. "Follow us".
Underneath, the glow of the stairs faded until it vanished completely. Then Ben and Alex saw a vibrant world that had never seen or heard before.
Some were drinking, others were listening to music, and their ears were stretched. A quiet laugh echoed somewhere out of sight. Near a glow of petals, flowers drew their attention.
Their eyes struggled to take in every detail. Towering above them, massive trees had trunks intertwined with intricate designs that emitted a soft glow from within. Houses appeared to twist from bending vines, adorned with radiant foliage, or shaped directly into giant rock faces and small creatures flitted about. Liam moved his hand wide, showing the space they stood in. "This is Sylvaria."
They were perched on a grassy hill, overlooking a breathtaking valley. Beneath a canopy of cloudy stars, the light from the river flowed like threads woven through stone. supernatural, all functioning like regular people until they noticed Ben and Alex, at which point they began to whisper. "What are humans doing here?" murmured one of the elves. "Are these human?" a fairy in the air asked in a whisper. Ray and Liam were being followed by Ben and Alex across the realm.
"I can't believe what I'm seeing!" Ben gasped, wide-eyed at the breathtaking surroundings.
"It's incredible," Alex breathed, wide-eyed as he took in the sights and sounds. But were met with stares from the supernatural. all paused to watch the two humans, their expressions a mix of wonder and disbelief. They had never seen humans in their realm before since the time of war..
But just as they continued, they heard a voice, cutting through the murmurs of the crowd. An elf with a tall, slender frame and piercing green eyes stepped forward, a look of suspicion etched on his face. "What are these two humans doing here, Ray?" he demanded, his tone serious. "The rules said that no human is allowed in Sylvaria."
Ray stepped forward. "He was chosen by the amulet. They're here to help us." The elf scoffed, clearly unimpressed. "Is this a joke? How can humans possibly protect us? They're—" Before he could finish. The amulet glowed, which made everyone freeze for a moment.
The elf narrowed his eyes, skepticism still lurking in his expression. After a moment of silence, he shook his head, muttering something under his breath before turning and walking away.
"Who was that?" Alex asked, watching the elf vanish into the crowd.
Ray sighed. "That was Elandor, the commander of the soldiers. He thought the amulet would choose him as the next Guardian of the Realm.
"But he's not like the others all of the time," Liam said. "You guys need to meet the leader and one of the elders."
They came upon a trio of statues while strolling. "Who are these?" Alex said . In response, Laim said, "These are our leaders." "What happened to them?" Ben asked. replied Ray, "It's a long story,we need to start from the beginning."
