Chapter 15 - Ayal began to feel fear growing inside him.

After hearing those words from behind, Aira and Bokéra quietly left the room.

Ayal was alone.

He sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the floor.

"I remember… someone attacked me."

His fingers slowly clenched.

"At that moment… I felt like someone was calling me. A voice… speaking directly inside my head."

His breathing became slightly heavier.

"Give me your body…"

"If you give me your body… you will survive."

Those words echoed clearly in his memory.

"That's all I remember…"

Ayal lifted his head and looked toward the window.

"What was that? Who wanted my body…? What's inside me?"

He couldn't understand anything.

Just as he was lost in thought—

Knock. Knock.

"Ayal, may I come in? I need to speak with you."

He recognized the voice immediately.

"Professor Sun God…"

The door opened slowly.

Professor Sun God stepped inside, his golden aura faintly glowing under the room's dim light.

"I'm relieved to see you're alright," the professor said gently. "I was worried something serious had happened."

Ayal smiled faintly.

"No, Professor. I'm fine."

The professor nodded.

"That makes me happy."

There was a brief silence before he continued.

"I owe you an apology. I failed to properly secure the academy. This incident… it happened because of my negligence."

Ayal shook his head.

"It's not your fault, Professor. No one could have predicted this."

Professor Sun God sighed.

"This is the first time the academy has ever been attacked…"

Ayal hesitated before asking,

"Professor… what happened to Lenfan?"

The professor's expression darkened instantly.

"You know he attacked you, correct?"

Ayal nodded.

"Yes… I saw him just before he struck me."

Professor Sun God folded his arms.

"After the attack, parts of the academy were nearly destroyed. Lenfan will receive severe punishment."

"Where is he now?" Ayal asked quietly.

"He has been sent to an SSS-Rank zone."

Ayal's eyes widened.

"SSS-Rank…?"

That was no ordinary place.

It was a realm filled with monsters and demons beyond imagination.

"The academy has sealed his mana and stripped him of his power," the professor explained. "In that condition… surviving there is nearly impossible."

Ayal lowered his gaze.

"So… he might already be dead…"

The professor turned toward the door.

"You need rest. Your body still hasn't fully recovered."

"You're right," Ayal replied softly.

After the professor left, the room became silent once again.

Ayal walked toward the window and stared outside.

The sky felt strangely vast… almost unreal.

Suddenly, something came back to him.

"The one I fought… that group member…"

He remembered the moment clearly.

A sword being drawn.

A killing intent directed at him.

"But after that… everything goes blank."

He clenched his chest.

"What's inside me…? What saved me?"

Somewhere Far Away…

In a massive hall unlike anything in the human world, a long table stood at the center. Several figures sat around it.

"So, Number Five… how was your mission?"

Number Seven leaned back with a grin.

"When you came back, it looked like someone had beaten you up pretty badly."

"Heh. You always say nothing entertains you. So what happened?"

Number Five chuckled lazily.

"Laugh all you want. I had more fun than I expected."

Number Seven raised an eyebrow.

"Fun? Don't tell me you fought some supreme god?"

Number Five shook his head.

"No. He was just a student. A god academy student."

The entire table fell silent.

"A student…?" Number Seven repeated in disbelief.

"I thought it would be boring," Number Five continued. "Killing a student isn't exactly exciting."

He leaned forward, eyes shining.

"But I was wrong."

"The moment I was about to finish him… something changed."

"His mana. His aura. His entire presence… it exploded."

"He stood up like a completely different being."

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"That fight… was beyond imagination."

Number Seven laughed.

"So you actually enjoyed it that much?"

"If you had been there, you would've enjoyed it too."

"But he wasn't like the others," Number Five added quietly. "There was something… abnormal about him."

Suddenly, another figure stepped forward.

"You two seem very relaxed."

The atmosphere instantly grew tense.

"You do realize," the newcomer said coldly, "that when we accept a mission, we must complete it."

Number Five didn't respond immediately.

"He's still alive, isn't he?" the figure asked.

"…Probably."

"Then the mission is not finished."

Silence filled the room.

Before anyone could reply—

A powerful voice echoed throughout the hall.

"Are you here to have fun?"

All of them froze.

Slowly, they turned around.

A presence stood behind them.

Overwhelming. Absolute.

Their Boss had arrived.
