"I'm sorry for staring but you look like a friend of mine." Lily said with a giggle.
"Oh, no worries. Do you often go here?" Arabelle replied and asked.
"Not really. I just suddenly crave for some snacks." Lily replied and showed her basket of snacks.
"Wow, me too!" she told her while showing her own basket full of snacks as well.
Both of them laughed because of their cravings. They both went to the counter to pay. Afterwards, they seemed to click so they talked for a bit. She learned that her name is Lily and she has lived in the area since birth. They seem to have a lot in common. After dropping out from highschool, Arabelle never gained any friends anymore. As if her former friends decided to bail on her as well. Instead, she dedicated her time and energy to her family. Her sister became her best friend. It made their bond stronger.
