With Shinobu's arrival, Takeru looked directly at her. Compared to his impression, she had less gentleness and more vigor.
The only constant was Takeru could see her dependence on her sister. Beside her was Tsuyuri Kanao.
Kanao was much like Takeru remembered, silent and expressionless, her face rarely showing emotion.
"Shinobu, Kanao, you're here!" Seeing them arrive, Kanae smiled and waved.
"Nee-san, what are you doing? And why is there such a special house here?" Hearing Kanae's words, Shinobu was full of confusion and asked directly.
"Don't be so impatient. Let me introduce you. This is Nara Takeru-san. This is Takanashi Rikka-san. Takeru-san, this is my younger sister Kocho Shinobu and my successor Tsuyuri Kanao." Seeing her slightly impatient sister, Kanae greeted her leisurely.
Seeing Kanae's solemn demeanor, Shinobu was surprised. She looked at Takeru and Rikka beside her.
For her sister, a Hashira, to introduce them so cautiously meant she considered them equals or even higher.
Shinobu looked at Takeru. Besides noticing his handsome appearance and special aura, she didn't feel much else.
She didn't even sense any power from Takeru. He seemed like an ordinary person. Rikka, however, gave her a dangerous feeling.
"If you don't mind, there's still plenty of food here. Would you like to sit down for a drink?" Looking at Shinobu, Takeru extended an invitation.
"Shinobu, Kanao, come over here. This food is really delicious. And it's cuisine from another world." Hearing Takeru's words, Kanae happily beckoned them over. Being able to let her family taste this special food also made Kanae feel it was a happy thing.
"Another world's cuisine!" Hearing Kanae's words, Shinobu was a bit bewildered as she walked over.
Upon entering the room, she had noticed this unusual aroma. Getting closer and seeing the dishes on the table, she involuntarily swallowed.
Although many dishes had been finished or were half-eaten, many of the remaining ones still looked very appetizing.
"Here, this is Rainbow Juice. Try it first." As she spoke, Kanae poured two cups of seven-colored Rainbow Juice.
Looking at the juice before her, Shinobu was very confused. But trusting that her sister wouldn't harm her, she quickly took a sip.
Just that simple sip brought an ultimate deliciousness she had never experienced, making her close her eyes and savor the flavor.
Even the silent Kanao, after taking a sip, blushed slightly. A sense of joy involuntarily rose in her heart. The saying that food can make people happy isn't just talk.
Not to mention, this drink wasn't something from an ordinary world, but a product of the Toriko World.
Then, Shinobu finished the entire cup of Rainbow Juice before coming back to her senses. She looked at her sister in disbelief.
"Nee-san, what are these drinks? And the otherworldly cuisine you mentioned, is this it?" Taking a deep breath, Shinobu quickly asked.
"Let's not talk about that first. Just sit down." Hearing Shinobu's words, Kanae just waved her hand, then slightly pulled her stool closer to Takeru, creating an empty space.
Seeing this, Nezuko slightly moved towards Tanjiro, also vacating a spot.
Then, Shinobu and Kanao brought stools and sat down, somewhat nervously tasting the food.
Feeling the various ultimate flavors explode on their taste buds, Shinobu forgot everything around her and wholeheartedly enjoyed the meal.
Even Kanao's eating speed increased. And because of the various foods, a smile seemed to linger on her lips.
Seeing this, Kanae's eyes lit up. Although not sure, perhaps this food could completely resolve Kanao's current issues.
Because of Shinobu and Kanao's sudden intervention, the late-night snack lasted even longer. Takeru also conversed a lot with Kanae, and their mutual goodwill increased.
"By the way, Rikka, do you want to go back first? I probably won't return tonight. I also might not make it to school tomorrow." Around 12:30 a.m. in this world, Takeru looked at Rikka.
"Well, I understand. I'll go back then." Hearing Takeru's words, Rikka thought for a moment. Knowing she couldn't be of much help here for now, she nodded gently.
Although she enjoyed spending time with Takeru, this world wasn't her own, which brought many inconveniences.
Also, to avoid worrying her sister, she really should go back.
"Sorry, we'll excuse ourselves for a moment." Before Kanae could answer, Takeru disappeared with Rikka, directly appearing at the spacetime tunnel on the outskirts of Mount Natagumo, about a kilometer from where he had built the house.
"Well, Takeru, I'll go back now. By the way, you'll be back on Saturday, right?" Then, Rikka asked.
"Yes, I promised Tsumugi and the others to take them to the island. As for this matter, you can tell Yukino and the others." Hearing Rikka's question, Takeru nodded slightly.
"I see. About the weekend, I also want to come to your place." Hearing Takeru's words, Rikka quickly spoke.
"Okay, then see you the day after tomorrow." Hearing this, Takeru nodded with a smile.
Then, under Takeru's watch, Rikka entered the spacetime tunnel and returned to the main world.
After Rikka left, Takeru used space movement to return to his original spot.
"Takeru-san, you're back." Seeing Takeru reappear silently, Kanae felt a bit emotional.
Shinobu and Giyu were also extremely shocked. They hadn't noticed anything unusual about Takeru and Rikka's disappearance, nor his return.
If they hadn't been watching him the whole time, they would have thought Takeru had never left.
Tanjiro, on the other hand, had somewhat deified Takeru in his heart, so he wasn't too surprised by Takeru's methods.
Nezuko also watched this scene with a smile, her thoughts similar to Tanjiro's.
Not long after Takeru returned, a Kasugai Crow flew over and loudly called for Kanae and the others to return and report, mentioning that Takeru, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu could accompany them to headquarters.
"Takeru-san, sorry to take up more of your time. Let's go back together." Seeing the Kasugai Crow quickly obtain Takeru's information, Kanae wasn't too surprised. She just spoke respectfully to Takeru.
Because of the food Takeru had provided and his special methods, Shinobu was very curious about Takeru and had quite a bit of goodwill.
She was also happy he could go to headquarters, as the Butterfly Mansion was near there. She could invite him to visit later.
"Then let's go." Hearing her words, Takeru nodded directly. After a quick clean-up, he followed everyone away from the house.
Then, to everyone's confusion, Takeru gently touched the house. The sturdy, luxurious building instantly collapsed, returning to the earth. It was all very natural.
But Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and the others inexplicably felt heartache. That house was probably the most luxurious they had ever entered.
The facilities inside, though they had never seen them before, from the beautiful lights to the soft sofas and the unusual-looking dining table and chairs, they knew these items could sell for a very high price.
Not only Tanjiro, but the ordinary Demon Slayer Corps' members also felt the same. Although they hadn't planned to live on Mount Natagumo, having such a comfortable home would be nice.
Takeru, on the other hand, didn't think so much.
After all, the house was built temporarily, and the location wasn't good. He probably wouldn't come here again. Besides, he felt it was more appropriate to build a house near the spacetime tunnel.
