That evening at nine o'clock, Takeru received a prompt from his Reincarnation Watch. It notified him that he must enter the Reincarnation Space for a mission within twenty-four hours, after which he would be forcibly summoned.
Seeing this, Takeru was momentarily taken aback, then fell into thought, 'It seemed the Reincarnation Space was quite considerate in this regard.'
While Takeru was thinking, his phone rang. Miu, sitting beside him, curiously glanced at it.
"I'll take this call," Takeru said softly to Miu after seeing the caller's name, then went to a guest room.
"Hello, this is Nara Takeru," He answered.
"Takeru, you received the prompt, right?" Yukino's voice came through the phone.
"Yes, I did," Takeru replied calmly.
"Tomorrow is the weekend. I was thinking we could all gather at my apartment to enter together. Would that be convenient for you?" Yukino asked hesitantly.
"That's not a problem. What time?" Takeru considered for a moment before responding.
"How about 3:00 p.m.?" Yukino suggested.
"Alright. I'll be there on time," Takeru agreed calmly.
"Good. After I confirm with the others, I'll post the details in the group chat," Yukino said, sounding relieved that Takeru agreed.
Though Takeru hadn't displayed overwhelming strength in their daily lives, Yukino understood he was likely the most formidable among them.
Combined with his frequent and valuable insights, Yukino had unwittingly developed a slight reliance on him, though she hadn't realized it yet.
In fact, not just Yukino, but others like Umaru also held Takeru in high regard. If a leader were chosen among them, it wouldn't be Yukino, who often organized things, but the reliable and handsome Takeru.
Of course, Takeru himself didn't think much about such things. He simply didn't want to stand out too much. Offering some advice without exposing himself was something he didn't mind doing.
"Alright, let's leave it at that for now," Takeru said softly.
"Okay, see you later," Yukino said before quickly hanging up.
Hearing the dial tone, Takeru calmly put away his phone.
Then, the phone rang again. This time it was Yui. Takeru answered once more.
"This is Takeru," he said after picking up.
"Ah, Takeru-kun, um... about that..." Yui's ditzy voice came through the line as soon as the call connected.
"Onee-chan! Just ask Takeru-senpai if he got the prompt!"
Listening to the flustered Yui and the exasperated voice of Ui on the other end, Takeru shook his head with an amused smile.
"Yui, I received the prompt. Yukino just called me. We're gathering at her place tomorrow. Wait a moment, she'll probably call you too," Takeru quickly explained Yukino's plan.
"Ah, yes! I... I understand!" Yui finally sounded relieved.
"Is there anything else? If not, you should hang up, or Yukino might not be able to reach you," Takeru added.
"N-no, nothing else."
"Alright, see you later then." Takeru smiled and hung up.
"Bye-bye!"
After the call, Takeru returned to the living room and sat back on the couch with Miu to continue watching the movie.
"Onii-chan, who was that?" Miu asked, naturally wrapping her arms around him once he sat down.
"A classmate," Takeru replied casually.
"A female classmate, right?" Miu looked at him intently.
"From the club. We have a club activity tomorrow, so be good and stay home alone, okay?" Takeru answered directly.
"Really? You're not going on a date, are you?" Miu eyed him suspiciously.
"I told you, I'm not." Takeru ruffled her hair.
Seeing his reaction, Miu let it go for the moment, but her eyes sparkled with a mischievous gleam.
"In that case, I want compensation from Onii-chan," Miu said, staring straight at him.
"Alright, what do you want?" Takeru asked, looking at her.
"Hmm... Next weekend, I want you to take me to the zoo!" Miu thought for a moment and said seriously.
"The zoo... Okay, I understand," Takeru hesitated briefly but then nodded at her expectant look.
"Thank you, Onii-chan!" Hearing his agreement, Miu excitedly kissed his cheek, then rested her head on his shoulder as they continued watching the movie.
"..." Takeru was slightly stunned by her action but then shook his head with a wry smile.
Not long after, Takeru received a message in the group chat from Yukino. Clearly, everyone had agreed to her proposal. They would gather at her apartment tomorrow.
