After giving his statement to the police, Dennis suggested they head back to their apartment, but Daisy insisted on going to the student council office instead. Dennis felt forced to follow along; even though he was trying his best not to suspect Daisy number three, his gut feeling remained, growing even stronger than before he tried to suppress it. As they walked through the hallway toward the office, Dennis glanced at Daisy, who was still hugging her watermelon, her face so calm it was as if nothing was happening around them.
"So, what are you going to do with that watermelon? You said earlier you wanted to get back at Charlie by smashing his head with it," Dennis said.
"Oh, this? Let's just all eat it together. We'll slice it up with a sword later in the council office," Daisy number three replied, relaxed and composed.
"I see. That's fine with me," Dennis said.
