Chapter 4 - A New Very Different Life : In Positive Way

Later that evening, "click," Dennis opened his dorm room door and stepped aside to let Daisy in first. Once he was inside, his jaw dropped yet again. The walls were covered in photos of him and Daisy in all sorts of situations, with carefree smiles lighting up both their faces. Then he looked around; all the furniture, like the sofa, dining table, coffee table, and kitchen gear, was arranged neatly and was spotlessly clean. The scent inside was also pleasant, unlike his house back home, which only smelled of food mixed with the scent of whatever happened to be lying around here and there.

Dennis felt like everything surrounding him wasn't actually his life. He felt like he was on another planet, and if the real owner of this place came home, he'd probably be tossed into the sea. He just stood there, frozen, in front of the door. Daisy noticed, turned back, huffed, and pulled his hand with a smile on her face.

"I told you we should have gone to the hospital for a checkup first, but you wouldn't listen," Daisy murmured softly with a playful, slightly pouting expression.

"Sorry... but I really am okay... I'm just still a little confused. I'll remember everything again soon, for sure," Dennis replied, trying to calm the girl in front of him who claimed to be his wife.

"Alright then, do you want to eat first or shower first?" Daisy asked.

"Um... I'll shower first, I've been sweating a lot," Dennis answered.

"Do you want me to wash you while I'm at it? Can you manage on your own?" Daisy asked, sounding genuinely concerned.

"No... it's fine, I can do it myself," Dennis replied, forcing a smile even though he felt incredibly awkward.

"Alright then, I'm heading to the kitchen. If you need anything, just call me," Daisy said as she turned away.

"Yeah... okay," Dennis replied, trying to keep his cool. "Crap, where's the bathroom? Is it in the bedroom? It'd be pretty weird to ask, right?" Dennis wondered to himself while quickly scanning the surroundings.

Since there weren't any other doors besides the bedroom door, he walked straight over and opened it. When he stepped inside, his eyes went wide at the sight of a king-sized bed in the middle of the room, a massive wardrobe that looked like it was shared by two people, a vanity, a desk, and another door directly across from where he stood. When he looked at the wall, he saw a large canvas photo of himself in a tuxedo that was a bit too small, standing next to Daisy in a wedding dress that looked beautiful and fit her perfectly.

He raised his hands to rub his eyes and blinked repeatedly, trying to process everything around him. After standing frozen by the door for a moment, he finally worked up the courage to walk in, passing the bed toward the door ahead of him. He opened it to find a shower and a toilet in one room. He saw two toothbrushes in a single cup in front of the vanity mirror, and he also noticed two towels—one large and one small—hanging behind the door.

"Okay... I have to accept the reality that Daisy is actually my wife... even though it's something impossible. As far as I knew, tons of guys confessed to Daisy, but she always turned them down," Dennis muttered inside his head.

He took a deep breath and let it out. Then, he reached back and locked the bathroom door. After that, he started undressing, stepped into the shower stall, and turned on the warm water. Just as he was about to stand under the spray, suddenly, "thud... thud... thud... Dennis... honey... why is it locked?" The sound of the door being knocked on came along with Daisy's voice calling out to him. Dennis quickly grabbed his towel, walked back to the door, and unlocked it.

Dennis jumped in surprise seeing Daisy behind the door, her face pale, huffing, and looking incredibly anxious. Then, she immediately started taking off her clothes right in front of him and stepped inside.

"I'm worried. Let's just shower together. The bandage on your head isn't supposed to get wet yet," Daisy said firmly.

"B... but..."

"No buts, hurry up," Daisy said firmly, cutting Dennis off and grabbing his hand.

They stepped into the shower together. Daisy immediately started lathering up Dennis's entire body, telling him to crouch down a bit. Then, Dennis helped Daisy wash her body with soap as well. They did it all so naturally, as if they had done this thousands of times before and it was just part of the routine. Every time Dennis turned his head away because he couldn't handle the sight of Daisy's naked, sexy body, she'd turn his face back toward her by nudging his cheek.

"Hold it... please hold it... blood, please do not flow in the wrong direction... don't get tense... distract your mind... distract your mind... how can I? There's something hot and sexy right in front of me," Dennis muttered frantically in his head.

"Are you... alright?" Daisy asked, noticing the strange look on Dennis's face.

"I... I'm fine, I'm good," Dennis answered, giving a thumbs up and forcing a smile.

Once they finished rinsing off, Daisy helped Dennis dry his body and vice-versa. They stepped out of the bathroom and headed toward the wardrobe. When it opened, Dennis was shocked to see that the entire contents of his old closet had apparently been moved here.

"Oh right, Bella borrowed your notebook earlier," Daisy said suddenly while pulling on her t-shirt.

"Yeah, she already told me," Dennis replied, struggling to pull his shirt on without snagging the bandage.

"She just snatched it from your desk. It's a good thing I arrived right then, and since she said she'd talked to you, I let her take it," Daisy added casually.

"Thanks for helping out," Dennis replied stiffly.

Daisy immediately turned and stared at Dennis. She put on her glasses and gave him a serious look, even squinting her eyes behind the lenses.

"Are you feeling better now?" Daisy asked.

"I am, thank you," Dennis answered.

Suddenly, "smooch," Daisy moved incredibly fast, kissing Dennis's lips and making his eyes go wide. After a moment of a somewhat heated kiss, Dennis gently pushed Daisy back, and she happened to let go at the same time.

"I hope your memory comes back soon. I actually miss you, you know, when you're being way too polite to me—like we just met and it's so far from how you usually are," Daisy said with a smile.

"Hmm... true, sorry about that," Dennis replied, playing along even though he was still awkward and trying his hardest to keep his face from turning beet red.

After that, they went out and sat casually on the sofa, pressing close to each other and cuddling. Even though Dennis was constantly struggling to act natural and push his awkwardness far away out of the window, deep down he felt like what he was doing with Daisy right now was something he had done many times before, and it felt completely normal.

They watched television shows that were nothing but documentaries of hunters tracking monsters outside the city or clearing the streets of creatures that had managed to infiltrate the dome.

***

The next morning, Dennis woke up to a rhythmic rocking sensation. Then, he felt a brand-new feeling in the lower half of his body, something he had never experienced in his life—a warm sensation, squeezed by something smooth, soft, and wet. Slowly, he opened his eyes, and they immediately bulged. He saw a girl with cat ears and short black hair, but her naked body was identical to Daisy's. She was on top of him, riding him with intense energy.

"Huh... wh... who are you?" Dennis asked, startled.

"Hello, honey. Don't tell me you forgot me. It's me, your wife, Daisy," the cat-girl replied, her voice breathless.

"Daisy? You?" Dennis asked in shock, while definitely feeling the pleasure down below.

"Yeah... ah... oh right, Number 1 said you have amnesia. I'm Daisy Number 4. Nice to meet you," Daisy said.

"Huh... but... why did you change? Are those ears real? Why is your hair short?" Dennis asked, utterly confused.

Daisy who was now in the form of a cat-girl spun around on top of Dennis's body without breaking their connection. Dennis was shocked when he saw Daisy's back; it turned out part of her long hair was attached to her back like fur, so from the front, all he could see was short hair. Plus, there was a tail right in front of his face, and it was clearly real.

Then, the agile Daisy spun again, sighing and moaning with pleasure. She continued her performance, making Dennis even more confused, though he was also feeling an incredible amount of bliss. Suddenly, Daisy stared at Dennis, her face looking completely seductive, her body drenched in sweat, and Dennis felt like he could actually see pink heart icons in both her eyes.

"Yo... you feel so good now, honey... you've changed, you've become so arousing... I really love you," said the fourth Daisy, aka the cat-girl.

"O... okay... I love you too," Dennis said, trying to keep up with her. "I... changed? Really? Was it because of that random design yesterday? But... this feels good... I hope this isn't a dream," Dennis thought to himself, clearly enjoying the movements of Daisy Number 4 more and more.

Fifteen minutes later, they finished. Daisy returned to her original form and lay flat on her back next to Dennis, panting. Dennis just stared at her, dumbfounded. Daisy rolled over for a second, grabbed her glasses and put them on, then looked back at Dennis. Her eyes darted around as if she were scanning his body, and her smile grew wider. She leaned in, pressing her entire body against his, and kissed him right on the lips.

Then, Daisy got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. Once she was inside, Dennis got up and opened the wardrobe. Behind the closet door was a mirror, and "boom," it felt like lightning struck Dennis's head when he saw his reflection. He had turned into a tall, muscular, well-proportioned man—no longer fat.

He was taller, his face was chiseled and handsome, and his hair was long and black. He recognized this form immediately; he was now the character he had designed in the game. He felt a wave of relief and almost cheered, but the joy died instantly when he saw the interface screen in front of his face. As he read it, the color drained from his skin.
