Chapter 3 - chapter3

Chapter 5 The First Real Contact

That night, Adrian took her back to his private office. The window of the office is very large, and the night view outside is like a cold painting. The documents on the table were neatly arranged, as if everything was under his control.

He asked her to sit down, but he stood behind her. She could feel his approaching breath.

"Do you know your current identity?" He asked.

She looked up at him, with fear and an indescribable expectation in her eyes: "You said, I am your choice."

He smiled and said, "It's not quite right. You belong to me."

His words were like a knife, cutting directly into her heart. Her breathing became rapid.

He stretched out his hand and gently stroked her hair. His movements were gentle but oppressive: "You did a good job today."

She wanted to say that she didn't want to be praised, but she found that she cared about his words. Her cheeks are hot.

"Why do you do this to me?" She asked in a low voice.

He didn't answer immediately. He just approached gently with burning eyes: "Because you made me want it."

Her heart jumped suddenly. She knows what this sentence means.

He gently pushed her to the chair and leaned closer by himself. She could feel his breathing and the distance he approached her as if he was going to swallow her.

He is not in a hurry to take further action. He just stopped in front of her, as if confirming her reaction.

Her body seemed to be pulled by something. She was obviously afraid, but she couldn't help but approach.

His lips pressed close to her lips and touched gently, like a flame passing through her skin. Her body suddenly got out of control, and her heartbeat suddenly accelerated.

At that moment, she understood:

He is not gentle, he is dangerous.

She tried to step back, but his arm grabbed her like iron. Her breathing became chaotic.

She wanted to refuse, but she found that she couldn't refuse.

She closed her eyes, and there seemed to be a fire burning in her heart. She knew that she was being possessed by him and that she was losing control.

But she also knew that she couldn't stop.

After that night, her body became extremely sensitive. She knew what had happened between her and him, but she couldn't say it.

She only knows:

She is no longer herself.

Chapter 6 The Consequences Begin

After that night, Elena's life changed completely.

She found herself arranged into a completely different world - a world full of power, money, control and desire. She was forced to enter the Black Corporation and become Adrian's assistant, but in fact her every step was under his supervision.

Her mobile phone was replaced with a special machine provided by the company, and her itinerary was arranged tightly. She even found herself being brought by him on social occasions, like a precious item.

She began to feel suffocated, but she couldn't resist. She knew that resisting would cost her more.

She is doing better and better at work because she finds that she has to exchange her ability for a little freedom. Her independence makes her more attractive and dangerous in front of Adrian.

One night, she returned to the apartment and found a letter on the table. There is no sender on the envelope, only her name is written.

She opened the letter, and there was only one sentence in it:

You are not his only target.

Her heart suddenly sank. She knew that this was not a threat, but a fact.

She thought of Victor Kane's look, that covetful look. She realized that she had been caught in a bigger whirlpool.

She stood in front of the window, and the night was like a black net, slowly covering her. Her heart was full of fear, but there was a strange excitement.

She knew that she could not turn back.

Chapter 7 The villain debuts

The next day, Black Corporation held an important business meeting. Elena was arranged outside the conference room and was responsible for sorting out the materials. She stood outside the door with her palms sweating slightly.

Adrian's calm and firm voice came from the conference room. His existence is like an invisible sword, cutting through the air.

Suddenly, a man walked into the conference room. His pace is steady and his eyes are cold, like a wolf hiding in the night.

Elena's heart jumped suddenly. She recognized him - Victor Kane.

Victor's eyes swept through the conference room and finally fell on Elena. The corners of his mouth rose slightly, as if he was looking at an interesting prey.

"Black." Victor's voice was provocative, "Your recent prey is good."

Adrian's eyes instantly became cold: "She is not your prey."

Victor shrugged his shoulders: "She may not be your prey, but she is what I want."

Elena's heart suddenly seemed to be suppressed. She realized that:

She is not only Adrian's belonging, but also a battlefield.

After the meeting, Victor deliberately stopped her in the corridor.

"What's your name?" He asked in an obviously playful tone.

Elena looked up at him and said coldly, "Elena Hart."

Victor smiled: "Hart... heart."

Her heart jumped suddenly. She didn't like his eyes, but she found that she couldn't take her eyes off.

"Do you know?" Victor continued, "Your life is wonderful now, but you don't belong to him. You belong to me."

Her throat was dry: "What are you talking about?"

Victor approached her with fire-like eyes: "I'm saying that your current fate has more than one choice."

Just then, Adrian suddenly appeared at the end of the corridor. His eyes were as cold as a knife in the winter night.

"Leave." Adrian whispered.

Victor smiled, "Black, you really love me."

Adrian's eyes became deeper: "She is not your pawn."

Victor raised his eyebrows: "So is she your prisoner?"

Adrian's voice was like ice: "She is mine."

Victor's smile disappeared. He turned around and left, leaving a cold word:

"You will regret it."

Elena's body suddenly felt cold. She looked at Adrian and found that there was a dangerous affection in his eyes.

"Why do you want to protect me?" She asked.

Adrian approached her in a low voice, "Because you belong to me."

Her heart suddenly tightened. She knew that this was not a comfort, but a declaration.

She closed her eyes, but there was a strange feeling in her heart:

She began to doubt whether she really wanted to escape.
