Not again.
"I'm next," the scorpion man said lazily from the couch.
Her eyes flew to him.
He was holding up his phone.
Recording.
"STOP!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.
No one cared.
No one was coming.
She was alone.
Why was God doing this to her?
Her eyes squeezed shut when filthy hands pressed against her chest.
If they left her alive…
She would end it herself.
"S-stop… please…" she cried, twisting in pain.
The man holding her legs pressed harder on her injured ankle.
She barely felt it anymore.
"Rip her clothes already," the scorpion man hissed into the camera.
"NO! PLEASE!"
Her scream echoed
Then
The door burst open with a violent bang.
Sofía's tear-filled eyes snapped toward the entrance.
Green eyes met hers.
Familiar.
Burning with rage.
And somewhere deep within that fury
She felt safe..
The moment Fernando stepped into his house, all he wanted was to pull her into his arms.
But something was wrong.
A sharp unease twisted in his gut.
