Over the few days of my expedition, the frozen plains became my personal harvesting ground. The blueprint formed by my Joyful Thoughts guided me with extreme precision exceptthe only anomaly , allowing my pack to expand like a rolling avalanche.
My new Shark Fin Wolf Thousand Beast King proved to be the ultimate anvil. With it anchoring the center, we systematically hunted down and assimilated smaller packs.
The calculus of Enslavement Path was simple: use the strong to subjugate the weak, and let the beasts handle their own internal hierarchies , this will solve a huge amount of pressure from the gu masters every day life .
This principle proved itself perfectly on the fifth night. We encountered a wild pack of Night Wolves. Instead of a messy full-scale battle, my lone surviving Night Wolf Hundred Beast King issued a direct challenge to the wild alpha. Supported by my battle tips through the *Battle Disk Gu*, my Night Wolf tore the wild king's throat out.
The wild pack submitted instantly. Harvesting the dead wild king's brain and blood, I set up a quick refinement circle. The process was smooth, and I successfully refined a new Rank 2 Wolf Enslavement Gu. I immediately used it to formally enslave the night Wolf Hundred beast king alarmed by the battle sounds bringing it's pack to hunt what made the sound ,thought gaining a new pack, later i found another night wolf pack and enslaved it's leader bringing my Night Wolf division to a number of 360 shadows.
The very next day, my sole surviving Steel Back Wolf Hundred Beast King attempted the exact same maneuver against a wild Steel Back wolf pack through my order . Through my guidance, it crushed the opposing alpha, granting us an additional 150 heavily armored wolves.
However, the laws of Gu refinement are absolute and cruel , there is no absolute always success without failure . When I attempted to process the dead Steel-Back alpha into another Rank 2 Enslavement Gu, although the steps were perfectly followed whether by the conflict of the dao marks or the inherent failure probability of the world rejecting my synthesis. The bloody slurry bubbled violently and turned to worthless black ash .
Fortunately there was no backlash otherwise controlling the wolf packs with weakened soul foundation would have caused immense trouble and pressure over my soul
"A pity," I muttered, wiping the soot from my leather gloves. "But failure is just something even venerable level powerhouses suffer not to mention the me now , thinking over it too much is the true failure."
By the time the expedition concluded, I stood on a snowy ridge overlooking a literal sea of beasts. My army had swelled to roughly 3,000 wolves.
The breakdown was a perfectly balanced biological war machine:
* 950 Shark Fin Wolves: The amphibious, heavy-infantry core.
* 900 Lightning Frenzy Wolves: The ultimate shock cavalry, which contained electricity in their damages.
* 360 Night Wolves: The shadow assassins, perfectly synergized for sneak attacks or night surprises.
* 230 Wind Wolves: The ranged artillery, capable of unleashing volleys of wind blades.
* 200 Water Shell Wolves: The mobile elemental shields.
* 100 Poison Beard Wolves: The biological radars, their sensitive whiskers tracking any hidden anomalies.
* 180 Vermillion Flame Wolves: Led by two Hundred Beast Kings. This was an exceptionally rare find, their blazing red fur capable of setting the battlefield into an inferno.
* 150 Steel-Back Wolves: The vanguard blockaders.
Sitting safely in my aperture was the newly refined Rank 3 Wolf Enslavement Gu from the Shark Fin dead rival of my new ride, deliberately left unused as a strategic reserve.
When I finally marched this massive horde back to the Ju Tribe camp after feeding them completely , the reaction was exactly as I had calculated. The sheer scale of my army commanded by a single Rank 2 Peak Stage Gu Master silenced every critic. The guards at the perimeter scrambled to clear a path, looking at the towering Shark Fin King with undisguised awe.
I did not stop to revel in their shock. Managing a 3,000-strong pack to not attack the people of the tribe was mentally taxing, and the logistical nightmare of feeding them would drain my primeval stones within days or take a large part of my time. I headed straight for the heart of the tribe.
I bypassed the elders and went directly to the central treasury. The triplets guarding the door parted without a single word of protest; my display of military power had elevated my status beyond standard .
"I require the Rank 3 Wolf Gate Gu," I told the treasury elder, my voice leaving no room for negotiation.
The elder swallowed hard wanting to refuse out of the long years of experience as a greedy treasure keeper on the grounds of unpaid debts but having heard of the massive wolves waiting outside the gates partly and some in the tribe grounds and thinking logicaly he understood the reason behind my request . He didn't argue. He quickly brought out the specialized space-path storage Gu.
I instantly refined it there in less than 2 hours with my 99% primeval essence reserves and the help of the elder as he was the current owner of most precious gus in the treasury as the keeper . The Wolf Gate Gu was essential . It provided a spatial plain specifically designed to house canine beasts in stasis. Inside, their energy consumption was drastically reduced, meaning their feeding cycle would be extended significantly. It eliminated the daily burden of feeding them and allowed me to carry a massive army entirely concealed upon my person.
Seeing that the tribe was completely afraid but supportive of my new authority, I decided to press my advantage.
"I will also take a Rank 3 Wolf Smoke Gu," I demanded.
The elder hesitated for only a fraction of a second before retrieving it. The Wolf Smoke Gu was the premier healing method for Enslavement Path masters of our tribe , it produced a thick cloud that rapidly knitted torn flesh and mended broken bones across an entire area which through each increase in level would increase the area and the speed of healing the wolves .
Before leaving the treasury, I swept through the refinement aisles. I loaded up on Space Soap Tree bubbles, aged millet wine, pink crystal dust, and euphoric beast blood and some more other materials . To the elders, it looked like random pillaging of what they didn't care about , but these were the exact materials I needed to refine some of the remaining Gu of the Joyous Wind inheritance.
Stepping out into the freezing Northern Plains air, I activated the rank 3 Wolf Gate Gu. A massive, spectral gateway materialized in the snow. With a unified howl of the two thousand beast kings of my pack , my more than 3,000 wolves marched into the spatial pocket, vanishing from the physical world.
After all that the gate closed , shrinked and entered my aperture flouting inside the primeval sea waiting to be opened . My army was secured, their healing was guaranteed too , and some refinement materials were gathered too .
I returned to my yurt, the pink light of Joyful Thoughts beginning to spark in my mind. Now, all that was left was to refine some of my Joyous Wind Gu worms and wait for the battle to begin.
