Chapter 104: The Vibrations of Love and Tears of Ancient Memories
It is early dawn; the golden rays of the sun glide gently through the window of the new room, as if not wanting to break that magical silence. Rina woke up, but her heart was still full of the jealousy and unpleasantness of the night. She immediately turned her face to the other side, turning her back to Diari and pulling the blanket up to her chin. With a great deal of coyness, like an offended child, she pouted her lips and refused to say "Good morning."
Diari, who had not closed his eyes since then, lay down quietly behind her. He inhaled the scent of Rina's hair and began to speak in a low, soulful voice:
Diari's Long Speech to Reconcile with Rina:
"Rina... my Queen, the butterfly within the mist, listen to me. Do you know what the world was to me when I first met you? It was only war and darkness. But you came and changed all the colors. What you heard last night, Lina, is only a shadow of the past that means nothing. To me, Lina is like a burnt page in an old book, but you... you are the book itself, you are all the lines and all the words.
How can I look at the stars when I have your eyes? How can I taste sweetness when I have your kisses? I swear by all the battles we passed through together, I swear by the blood we spilled for freedom, that besides your love, no love shall ever find a place in these veins of mine. You are the only one who holds the key to this heart. Do not let such a small shadow ruin all this light for us. If you are offended by me, this new home will become the darkest prison for me. Without you, I am only a warrior without a sword."
Diari continued, speaking of all the moments when he felt in danger and only Rina's name gave him strength. He spoke of how he wanted to wake up beside her every single morning.
Crossing Borders and Rina's Shyness:
Rina was still turned away, but her heart was beating like a sparrow. Diari reached out gently and turned Rina's face toward his own. This time, Diari did not stop at words; he crossed the borders. He gently placed his hand under her neck and brought his face close to hers. Their gazes locked. With more courage, Diari kissed her forehead, then her cheeks.
Rina was almost trembling with shyness. Her entire body felt like electricity; even her wavy honey-brown hair seemed to carry a current, rising and glowing slightly. Rina placed both hands over her face to hide her embarrassment.
Diari: (With a low laugh) "Why are you hiding? Look into my eyes."
Rina: (Giving him a playful hit from under her fingers) "Nonsense... you are so full of nonsense, Diari! Don't do that, I am still angry with you."
Diari: "You're angry? But your eyes say something else."
Rina's Long Response and Reconciliation:
Rina moved her hands; her eyes were full of tears of love and jealousy.
"Diari, you don't know how painful jealousy is. When I see someone else wanting to speak your name, I feel like my whole world is falling apart. I didn't get you easily; we found each other in the midst of fire. I am afraid... afraid that a day will come and you will grow bored of this warrior girl and look for peace somewhere else. But your words... your words made me understand that you and I are one. I promise you that I will no longer let doubt and suspicion come between us, on the condition that you are mine and mine alone."
In that moment, they forgot everything. Diari held Rina tightly in his arms and they remained there for a long time. They crossed the boundaries in expressing their feelings and love, in a way that only two souls in love with each other can. Then, amidst all those feelings, Rina rested her head on Diari's chest and, because she hadn't slept much during the night, she fell asleep immediately. Diari did the same, and they fell asleep peacefully in each other's embrace.
The Heartbreaking and Soulful Moment of Elias:
At that moment, Elias happened to go toward their room to see if they had woken up for breakfast. When he saw the door slightly ajar, he looked inside. The scene was so beautiful; Rina and Diari were sleeping in each other's arms like two angels.
Elias gave an incredibly warm and deep smile. A cold tear rolled down his cheek. He reached into his pocket and pulled out an old photograph; it was a picture of his late wife.
Elias whispered to himself: "Look, my dear... see how happy they are. The love that we had is now alive within them. I miss you so much... I wish you were here too to see this peace together."
Elias cried a little in front of the photo, telling her about all the things that had happened in her absence. "Wait for me, a day will come when I reach you too, but until then, I must be the guardian of these two lovers."
Then he silently closed the door and left them to remain within their sweet dreams.
