Chapter 5: From Shadows to Smiles — The Rise of Rina

Rina's life was completely transformed; she had evolved into a renowned lawyer. She decided to throw her sorrows into the trash, choosing to smile and treat her past as a lesson for her future. Rina opened her own law firm and hired a secretary named Mr. Diyari. But instead of being a typical assistant, Mr. Diyari turned out to be a hilarious adventurer—a comedic secretary who made Rina forget her grief. He was so funny that he even made Rina burst into laughter in the middle of serious court sessions.

One day, while Rina was focused on an important legal file, Mr. Diyari burst into the office.

"Hey, Miss Rina! Leva called me from prison. She claims she's become the 'hero' of the inmates!"

Rina laughed. "The hero of thieves or the hero of liars?"

"Neither!" Mr. Diyari replied. "She's the hero of the laundry room. She washes clothes so fast, and with every garment she scrubs, she starts slandering the fabric! But it doesn't stop there. She causes so much drama that both the prisoners and the guards are exhausted. They've nicknamed her 'The Nuisance'."

Rina eventually went to visit Leva—not to cry, but simply to kill time. She found Leva in the middle of a frantic battle with a cockroach, screaming in terror. The guard sighed, "Miss Rina, please... she's even driven the cockroaches crazy with her constant accusations."

Meanwhile, at home, Rina's mother had become a full-time "security guard." She had bought Rina a kitten to cheer her up, but this kitten was nothing like the gentle Omid. His name was Palla (Spot), and he behaved like a character straight out of Tom & Jerry. One day, Palla sneaked into the mother's room and started messing with her makeup.

The mother chased him with a stick, shouting, "Hey, Palla! Are you trying to trick us like Leva did? Come here, you little thief!"

Rina watched the scene and collapsed onto the sofa, dying of laughter. "Mom, it seems we can't even trust the cat! At least he only took your makeup and not your gold."

In prison, Leva sent a letter to Rina: "Rina, please bring me some clothes. Mine are way too big. I don't know what to wear, help me!"

Rina replied: "Leva dear, remember that day my mom didn't buy a jacket for me, only for you? I'm just reminding you. Also, try being a bit more honest—maybe you'll get 'fat' enough for the clothes to fit!"

Back in court, another "Mr. Diyari disaster" occurred. Instead of announcing "All rise for the judge," he shouted, "Lullaby! The ruler has arrived for the game!" This sent Rina into a fit of laughter, her stomach aching despite the gravity of the courtroom.

To describe Leva in prison: if you saw her, you wouldn't know if she was Leva or a street sweeper. Her hair was such a tangled, filthy mess that the cockroaches used it as a "luxury villa" for their vacations. Any cockroach that couldn't find a home would crawl into Leva's greasy hair, whispering, "No one can touch me here, I'm so comfortable." Without makeup, her face looked like the ceiling of a crumbling old house. She gave the guards such bizarre looks that they were actually intimidated by her.

Her prison uniform was so oversized it looked like a stage curtain. One day, she tried to "catwalk" like a model through the prison hallway. Overwhelmed by her own vanity, she slipped, and her trousers fell down.

The guard yelled, "Girl, pick up your pants!"

The other inmates thought it was an earthquake and ran away in terror.

When it came to food, Leva ate like a wild animal. She ate so fast and so messily that the spills on her clothes looked like a map of the world. Even then, she slandered the food: "I know Rina sent this disgusting meal!"

The guard snapped, "Just eat it! Rina is out there eating kebabs while you rot in here. Hehehe!"

Leva even talked to the prison walls: "You're a liar and ungrateful just like Rina! Why don't you collapse so I can escape?" If the walls could talk, they would have said: "Shut up! If I could speak, I would have collapsed long ago just to get away from your lies."

Back at the office, Mr. Diyari and Palla burst in, both out of breath. Palla was wearing tiny black sunglasses and carrying a small briefcase in his mouth. Rina was shocked.

"Mr. Diyari, why did you bring a cat to the law firm?"

"Miss Rina, your mom doesn't trust him anymore. She says he's a thief like Leva. So, I've hired him as my second secretary! Believe me, he's smarter than Leva. Look at how he holds that evidence bag!"

Mr. Diyari tried to teach Palla how to "stamp" documents. He put Palla on Rina's desk, and the cat ended up stamping Rina's most important file with ink—and then turned Mr. Diyari's white shirt into another "world map."

Suddenly, Leva called Mr. Diyari's phone. He picked it up and held it to Palla's face.

Leva began her usual slandering: "Rina, listen to me—"

"Meow! Meow!" Palla interrupted.

Leva gasped. "What? Is Rina so ungrateful that she's bringing cats to my trial?"

Mr. Diyari shouted back, "Hey Leva! This cat is a lawyer now. He doesn't accept lies, or he'll turn your tangled hair into a football pitch and hunt down your cockroach friends!"

Terrified, Leva hung up and begged the guards, "Please protect me! Rina sent a cat to kill me!"

Rina couldn't stop laughing. She told Mr. Diyari, "Please, take the cat home. Otherwise, Palla will go to court tomorrow instead of me, and the judge will be so charmed by him that he'll sentence Leva to three lifetimes!"
