Solar shares his experience with Lunar, speaking of the ninth thing in the bucket list, which is to visit Vampire Castle.
Solar: When blood-stained moon appeared over mountain, where stood vampire castle with rose garden, there's neither butterflies nor honeybees, but flying bats that jumped at twisted trees. It's too gloomy about everything, the blood-stained moon, the Gorthic castle, and the flying bats. It's my first sight at Vampire Castle.
Lunar listens to his experience to visit Vampire Castle, and wonders how many magic things had he been through then, and if he could become a friend of vampire family?
Lunar: Vampire Castle was established in ancient time, but it continues to exist under tonight's full moon. It's the faith that makes this last for centuries, isn't it?
Solar: I was overwhelmed by the history of Vampire Castle, and I was overwhelmed by the faith that's fixed in vampire's mind more.
Lunar: It's a truth universally acknowledged that family is the power. It's family that's given us everything that we need; it's family that's given us support to pursue anything we want; it's family that's given us kindness, friendliness and love.
Solar: Family is the power that's empowered them to protect each member of family from dangers and threats. Their longing for goodness and happiness is the guide that's guided them to walk through many troubles and difficulties toward the light of bliss.
Lunar: I wonder what kind of family were you brought up, and what kind of virtues did you inherit from your family? You tell me about your family, and I'll tell you about mine.
Solar: My family owned a large plantation at the countryside, so it made them farmers. They were hard-working, as all farmers were; they were poor yet contented in the first decades, as all families were at the countryside; they were unsatisfied and unhappy in the last decades, when their grandchildren were born, their life was poorer, and all the other families were living a better life after young people were coming back from town.
Lunar: My family owned a huge kingdom in the Europe, so it made them royal crown. As the daughter of the king, I was allowed to have almost everything, except one thing, the right to decide my own marriage. It's a kind of economy to exchange for what's the best for my family and kingdom.
Solar: I was brought up with my younger brother, by my grandparents and uncle, when my parents were out for working in the distance. My grandpa was always at peace with everything, my grandma was often sympathetic towards family problems, and my uncle who was the only man in the family, sometimes had an argument with grandma at the table, when my brother and I were both young boys.
Lunar: I was brought up with my elder sister, by my servants and governesses, when my father was the king, and my mother was dead. My father often neglected us after my mother's death, and my mother was dead before I was not yet three years old. I was too young to have memories about my mother.
Solar: I didn't have memories about my mother either, 'cause I was not yet six years old. What I could remember was that they only came back home twice in my first six years. At the first time, they came back with my younger brother. At the last time, they came back to have a divorce. I never saw her again, since that day we parted.
Lunar: It's rumored that my mother was executed on charges of treason, adultery and incest. I didn't care about what the others talked about her, because her legacy was my elder sister and me. One was the queen who created golden age in England's history, and another was the queen who created vampire clan in the Dark side's history.
Solar: It's rumored that my mother remarried shortly after divorce, and I might have some unmet half blood brothers. I didn't care about what the others talked about my mother, either, because her legacy was my younger brother and me. It's always my father who carried family's burden, and now it's our turns to share his burden.
Lunar: I always envied the other girls who could enjoy the companies of their mothers. The loss of my mother is a regret forever. I wouldn't let my regret become the others'. So I set the only one rule in vampire's blood, that family is the power.
Solar: I witnessed the unhappy life between my grandparents and the failing marriage between my parents. I was always frightened that I would end up like my grandpa or my father, or an old man filled with regret, waiting to die alone.
Lunar: Don't worry. You won't end up like anybody but yourself, the better self, who is capable of protecting loved one forever, of growing old with her hand in hand together, and of writing your stories filled with romance and happiness.
Solar: Thank you, Lunar, for comforting me.
Lunar: Let's put paid to it and get back to the topic of visiting Vampire Castle. I wonder what brought you to Vampire Castle?
Solar: Space portal girl. She was gonna take vampire baron out for a date, and by the way give me a lift to Vampire Castle.
Lunar: How was vampire baron's family?
Solar: There were thirteen ancient vampire families in the world, established by the first thirteen vampire knights, and vampire baron's family was one of thirteen families. They were good vampires, fed on animal's blood, hidden in the muggle world.
Lunar: Vampire and werewolf were like ice and fire, detesting each other for centuries. Vampire tended to regard werewolves as huge dogs, and werewolf tended to regard vampires as iced corpses. I wonder if you could become a friend of vampire family?
Solar: Vampire and werewolf were detesting each other, of course, I couldn't deny that. In the beginning, they looked at me, as if they looked at their bosom enemy, until they checked my magic wand. They treated me with hospitality, inquired about your news, and promised to help me, when I was ready to set you free.
