The rain intensified, pouring down as if the sky itself was weeping. Haiku stood alone, frustrated, muttering to himself,"why is she so stubborn? Why won't see just listen?"
The scene shifts to a quite apartment complex. Emma stands before her door, her hand trembling on the knob. Suddenly, a memory flashes -her sisters voice, sharp and desperate."Emma, you must leave the five lions. If you don't leave the gang, I will leave you forever."Emma had agreed then, but as the memory fades, tears well up in her eyes."sister... You were the one who broke the promise first,"she whispers into the silence.
She enters and rushes to the bathroom. Her clothes are soaked, and her hands and face are smeared with blood. As she scrubs her skin,she screams in agony,"you broke your promise!".
After calming down, she spots her math textbook on the table. Panic sets in."if I don't finish this. Mis kim will literally kill me tomorrow!" She thinks of calling Angel or monster, but realizes they are even worse at math than she is. She considers kuro, but fears his strictness. Finally, having no choice, she calls Haiku.
"Oh, the queen finally calls," Haiku mocks over the phone.
"Shut up and help me in maths, or I'm dead tomorrow," Emma snaps.
"I'll come,"Haiku says ,he tone turning serious,"but only if you agree to lead the gang again."
Emma hesitates, thinking of her sister, but Haiku 's words cut through: "your sister is gone, Emma the promise dead with her"
"Fine", she whispers."I'll do it".
The doorbell rings: ding- dong. Emma open the door expecting only haiku, but fine screw Angel and monster with Haiku standing there. Instantly, Angel and monster start bickering,"why did you come, you freak?"Angel yells."shut up is not my fault!"monster roars back. Emma loses it,grabs them both by their collars, and drags them inside."Are you crazy? This isn't a playground!"
Haiku arrives and hands Emma a single math problem. She stares at its for thirty minutes until she eventually falls asleep on the desk. Angel and monster soon drift off too
Haiku sighs, looking at them."useless... all of them."He turns to kuro."kuro, finish Angel and monsters maths work l'll handle Emma. She lied To me... She said only chapters were left, but there are seven! This girl will be the death of me.
Suddenly, Hiaku notices kuro intensely texting someone.
"Who is it? A girlfriend?"Hiaku mocks, then suddenly snatches the phone and throws it across the room. He grabs kuru by the collar, his eyes burning with rage."how dare you talk to him? The man who ruined Emma's life!"
He is still a member of team,"kuro says defiantly ".
"Team? Haiku laughs bitterly."the team that destroyed her? You're upset because she's family moving on?"
N...no Haiku.
"Shut up kuro and don't talk with me"
Haiku picks up the phone and types a chilling message: 'l am Haiku. I know you've been stalking Emma. If you come near her again, I will kill you".
A reply immediately pops up: "l'm only worried about her".
Haiku's grip on kuro 's collar tightens "the man who run the life..... Warried? Don't make me laugh.
