Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: An Ordinary Day

Yun believed his life was painfully ordinary.

He woke up at six every morning, brewed the same cup of weak coffee, and left his small apartment just as the sun slipped between the buildings. The city greeted him with noise and movement, people brushing past one another without a second glance.

And yet—

Sometimes, Yun felt like someone was watching him.

Not in a way that made his skin crawl.

Not fear.

More like… familiarity.

He shook the thought away as he waited for the signal to change. The light reflected faintly in his hazel eyes, distant and thoughtful. He had always been like this—quiet, observant, a little too aware of emotions that didn't belong to him.

"You're overthinking again," he murmured to himself.

That was what he always did.

The dreams had been worse lately.

Rain.

Cold stone beneath his knees.

A voice calling his name—low, restrained, aching.

When Yun tried to remember the face that belonged to that voice, his chest tightened for reasons he couldn't explain.

As he stepped into the cafe where he worked, the bell above the door chimed softly.

"Morning, Yun," his coworker said.

He smiled—gentle, natural. "Morning."

None of them noticed the man standing across the street.

Dressed neatly. Watching calmly.

His gaze followed Yun with devotion that had never faded—not in one lifetime, not in two.

Finally.

After all this time.

The man whispered Yun's name under his breath, lips curving into a smile that was warm, restrained… and dangerous in its patience.

"I found you again."

And this time—

Yun would not disappear from his life so easily.

To be continued....
