Chapter 2 - Distracted Viewing.

Xavier couldn't focus.

He sat in the boardroom, supposedly reviewing quarterly reports with his executive team, but his mind kept replaying last night. The way Nana had whimpered beneath him. The way her small hands clutched at his shoulders. The way she'd said his name like a prayer.

"Mr. Xavier?" His assistant's voice broke through. "Your thoughts on the merger proposal?"

He blinked, realizing everyone was staring at him. "I... approve. Proceed with due diligence."

That earned surprised looks—he hadn't even heard the details of the proposal. But his mind was elsewhere. On his wife. On the memory of her. On the need to have her again.

"Meeting adjourned," he announced abruptly, standing. "I'm working from home today."

Before anyone could protest, he was gone.

He found her exactly where he'd suspected—curled up on the couch, tablet in hand, watching a K-drama.

Again.

They'd specifically discussed this. Multiple times. Most recently during their last "punishment session" where he'd made her scream his name until she forgot every actor's face.

And yet here she was, giggling at some handsome CEO on screen who was sweeping a clumsy girl off her feet.

"Starlight."

She jumped, fumbling with the tablet. "Xavier! You're home early! I was just—"

"Watching a K-drama." His voice was calm. Too calm. "Interesting."

"It's research! For... for art class! We're studying narrative structure—"

"Is that so?" He walked slowly toward the couch, his blue eyes unreadable. "What's the narrative structure of this particular scene?"

On screen, the handsome CEO was pulling the girl into his arms, declaring his love in a dramatic rooftop scene.

"Well, you see, it's the classic enemies-to-lovers arc where—Xavier, what are you doing?"

He'd settled behind her on the couch, pulling her back against his chest, his arms wrapping around her waist.

"Continue watching," he murmured into her ear. "Don't let me interrupt your... research."

His hands began moving. One slid up to cup her breast through her thin shirt. The other dipped lower, finding the hem of her shorts.

"Xavier—" Her breath hitched.

"Shh. You wanted to watch your drama. So watch." His lips found her neck, kissing and biting while his hands continued their exploration. "Ignore me, starlight. Keep your eyes on the screen."

"I can't—how am I supposed to—"

"Try." His hand slipped inside her shorts, fingers finding her already wet. "Or is my touching you more interesting than your handsome CEO?"

She whimpered, her head falling back against his shoulder.

"Eyes on the screen," he commanded. "If you look away, I stop."

She tried—she really did. But his fingers were circling her clit with maddening precision, his other hand had pushed up her shirt to palm her breast directly, and his mouth was doing sinful things to her neck.

"What's happening in the drama now?" he asked casually, as if he wasn't currently pushing two fingers inside her. "Narrate for me."

"They're—ah!—they're on a rooftop—" Her words broke into a moan as he curled his fingers just right.

"And?"

"He's—oh god—he's confessing his love—Xavier, please—"

"Please what?" He added a third finger, stretching her. "Please stop? Please continue? Be specific, starlight."

"Don't stop—please don't stop—"

"Then keep watching. Tell me what happens next."

But she couldn't. The tablet had fallen from her numb fingers to the floor with a clatter, forgotten, as she writhed against him.

"Oh no," he said, mock disappointment in his voice. "You dropped it. I guess you can't focus on your drama after all."

"Xavier—"

"Looks like I win." He withdrew his fingers, ignoring her whimper of protest, and stood, scooping her into his arms. "Now you get your punishment for breaking our agreement. Again."

He carried her to their bedroom, his blue eyes dark with possession.

"You agreed no more K-dramas," he said, laying her on the bed. "Yet I come home to find you watching one. Giggling at another man. What am I going to do with you?"

"I'm sorry—"

"No you're not." He removed his tie with deliberate slowness. "You're mischievous. Defiant. You like pushing my boundaries to see what I'll do."

"Maybe," she admitted, biting her lip.

"Well." He shed his shirt, his lean muscles catching the afternoon light. "Let me show you what I do when you break the rules."

He climbed onto the bed, covering her body with his, his weight pressing her into the mattress.

"I'm not going to be gentle," he warned, his lips against her ear. "I'm going to fuck you until you forget every K-drama actor's name. Until the only name you remember is mine."

"Yes—please—"

He entered her in one hard thrust, swallowing her cry with a deep kiss. There was no slow buildup, no gentle preparation. Just immediate, overwhelming possession.

"Is this what you wanted?" He set a brutal pace. "To provoke me? To make me come home and claim you?"

"Yes!" She clutched at his shoulders. "I wanted you—needed you—"

"Then you should have just called me." He thrust particularly deep. "Instead of watching other men and making me jealous."

"I didn't mean—ah!—"

"Didn't you?" His hand slipped between them to circle her clit. "You knew exactly what you were doing. Knew I'd come home. Knew I'd punish you."

She came with a scream, but he didn't slow. His stamina—enhanced by his Evol abilities—meant he could keep going long after she'd exhausted herself.

"That's one," he noted. "Let's see how many more you can take."

He flipped her onto her stomach, entering from behind, the new angle making her gasp.

"This is what happens when you break our agreements," he said, his pace relentless. "You get thoroughly reminded who you belong to."

"I'm yours—only yours—Xavier!"

"Damn right you are." He pulled her up so her back was against his chest, one hand around her throat (not squeezing, just holding), the other between her legs. "Mine to touch. Mine to fuck. Mine to claim whenever I want."

She came again, and he finally allowed himself release, filling her completely with a groan.

But he wasn't done. His refractory period was nearly nonexistent—a benefit of his enhanced abilities—and he was still hard inside her.

"Again," he said simply, already moving.

They went round after round. In multiple positions. With varying levels of intensity. Each time proving his point—that no drama could compare to the reality of him.

By the time he finally stopped, she was thoroughly exhausted, marked, and satisfied.

"So," he said, pulling her against his chest as they both caught their breath. "Have you learned your lesson?"

"What lesson?" she asked innocently, and he could hear the smile in her voice.

"That K-dramas are forbidden."

"Mmm. But if this is the punishment for watching them..."

He groaned. "You're terrible."

"But you love me."

"Desperately." He kissed her forehead. "Though I'm starting to think you watch those dramas just to provoke me."

"Maybe I do." She looked up at him with those big eyes. "Because jealous Xavier is very, very attractive."

"You're going to be the death of me, starlight."

"But what a way to go."

He couldn't argue with that. As he held her close, both of them drifting toward sleep, he made a mental note to come home "unexpectedly" more often.

Because if this was her way of asking for attention, he was more than happy to provide it.

Even if it meant "punishing" her repeatedly.

For as long as they both lived.
