Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 — Confrontation in the Basement

The next day passed like any other in the city that bowed to Cassian Drakov's will — except for him, it did not pass quietly. Every meeting, every call, every report in the office was tinged with the memory of the banquet and the audacious omega who had dared to cross him and inject him with suppressants.

He wanted to distract his mind from that boy's appearance who comes in front of his eyes now.

By evening, Cassian's patience had reached its limit. He did not summon security or issue vague orders. He did not send a warning. He went himself.

The city had dimmed into evening when Cassian Drakov arrived at the bar — his own bar, one of the best places in the country. On the surface, it was unremarkable, a quiet façade of polished wood and low lights. But beneath it, in a shadowed basement, waited the omega who had dared to sabotage him.

Rick and Elena followed silently but they know that thunder is rolling and the storm has come. The basement door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit room. The smell of alcohol lingered faintly, mingling with the metallic tang of fear.

In the center of the room, tied to a sturdy chair, was the omega who was guarded by guards beside him

His little body trembled violently, head lowered, hands straining against the ropes that held him. Every subtle movement betrayed his terror.

Cassian's boots echoed on the concrete floor as he stepped closer. His presence filled the basement immediately. The alpha scent radiated from him like a tidal wave, brushing against the omega's senses even before a word was spoken.

The omega's eyes shot up, wide with panic.

"Sir-Master Drakov…" he stammered, voice cracking. "I… I—"

Cassian did not answer immediately. He circled slowly, deliberately, like a predator inspecting its prey. Every step was precise, controlled, calculated. The omega flinched with each movement, but Cassian ignored it. He did not raise his hand. He did not shout. He simply existed — and that was punishment enough.

"You drugged me," Cassian said finally, his voice low, smooth, deadly calm. "In my own banquet. Do you understand what you've done?"

The omega's trembling intensified.

"I… I didn't mean… it… I—"

Cassian's eyes narrowed, sharp as blades. "Didn't mean? You touched me. You interfered with me. You tried to take control of me without permission. You don't get to excuse that."

Rick stood behind him, still tense but keeping his hands to himself. Elena's presence was near the door, silent and watchful, prepared to intervene if necessary.

Cassian leaned closer to the trembling omega, and even tied to the chair, the alpha presence was overwhelming. The omega shivered, his head dipping lower. The subtle scent of fear clung to him, mixing with the faint remnants of the suppressant from the banquet.

"You will pay the price for what you've done," Cassian said quietly, his voice like ice wrapped around fire. "And anyone who touches me, anyone who tries to cross me, will learn that there is no escape. There is no mercy."

The omega whimpered, body shaking, realizing the full weight of the alpha standing before him.

Cassian straightened, taking a slow step back.

"Elena," he said, voice still calm but carrying lethal authority, "ensure this one understands the consequences. Make it clear — he cannot live freely after this."

Elena nodded, stepping forward, her movements precise. Rick glanced at her, eyes wary, but said nothing.

The omega's gaze flicked nervously between the three of them, realizing in full that Cassian's mercy did not exist — not for someone who had dared to touch him.

Cassian's eyes lingered on the omega one last moment before he turned, signaling Rick silently.

"Prepare him for containment. I want no chance for this… insolence to happen again."

The basement fell silent except for the faint shuffle of the guards taking the omega away.

Cassian remained standing for a long moment, absorbing the tension of the encounter, his control absolute once more.

But even as the omega was removed, bound and trembling, Cassian's thoughts wandered briefly — to the blonde omega, the one who had tested him. That omega had left the banquet freely, untouched, unafraid, teasing and challenging him in ways that no other could.

And in Cassian Drakov's mind, that one thought lingered longer than any anger or retribution.

A spark had been lit — subtle, dangerous, and intoxicating.

Rick finally opened his mouth " you won't get married or have a partner if you always act like a delinquent even though you are". Cassian walked forward leaving behind a remark " marriage is nothing but another useless path and a partner is just a tool for having a child".

Rick shouted with this attitude you will regret one day
