Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The Duel Begins

The street was completely silent.

No traffic. No footsteps.Only the faint rustling of wind passing through empty trees.

Abhiraj stood relaxed, hands in his pockets, as if this were nothing more than a casual meeting. On the other side, Aditya wiped the blood from the corner of his lips and straightened his posture.

Abhiraj glanced around.

"Not a bad place," he said, "but the problem is—there's no one here to watch you getting beaten."

Aditya said nothing. His focus was sharp—far too sharp.

Abhiraj made the first move.

Not fast.Not slow.

Perfect.

Aditya barely had time to react as a punch flew straight toward his face. He ducked just enough for it to miss and immediately countered with a low kick.

Abhiraj stepped back, dodging effortlessly.

"Muay Thai?" Abhiraj asked.

Aditya didn't reply.

He moved forward.

A sharp elbow.A knee aimed at the ribs.A spinning hook kick.

Abhiraj blocked every strike with minimal movement, his eyes reading each motion perfectly.

Then—

THUD.

A palm strike slammed directly into Aditya's chest, sending him sliding back several feet.

Aditya steadied himself before falling.

"…Interesting," Abhiraj said softly.

Aditya took a slow breath.

Focus.

His stance changed.

In an instant, his eyes turned purple.

The flow of air around him felt different.

Abhiraj noticed immediately.

"So you've reached this far," he said calmly."The Ultimate State."

Aditya lunged.

This time he was faster.Stronger.More precise.

Punches came in combinations, angles shifting mid-fight.Abhiraj was now forced to block instead of dodge.

A kick brushed his shoulder.A punch grazed his jaw.

For the first time, Abhiraj stepped back.

Abhiraj:"But you can't defeat me with just this. Your Ultimate State isn't strong enough."

Abhiraj took a deep breath.

Then his presence changed.

His movements became heavier—grounded.Every step carried intent.

He counterattacked.

A feint to the left.A sudden knee strike. An elbow aimed straight at Aditya's neck.

Aditya barely managed to guard.

The impact sent shock racing through his arms.

Abhiraj kept pressing without pause, forcing Aditya deeper into defense.

Aditya realized it.

He's not panicking. He's controlling the fight.

A powerful kick struck Aditya's ribs.

Pain flared.

He staggered—but didn't fall.

His vision blurred for a brief moment.

Abhiraj stepped forward—and vanished.

Aditya's instincts screamed.

He turned just in time to block a devastating strike that cracked the ground beneath him.

The impact dropped him to one knee.

Dust filled the air.

Abhiraj stood over him—calm, composed.

"This," he said,"is the gap between us."

Abhiraj swung a kick toward Aditya's face—but Aditya caught it with his hand.

As Aditya pushed the leg away, Abhiraj saw something that shocked him.

Aditya's eyes—once purple—had now turned red.

What is this…? Abhiraj thought.

At that moment, Aditya had lost consciousness.

But his body kept fighting.

When Aditya finally opened his eyes, the only thing he heard was crying.

"Sob…""Sniff…""MOM! MOM!"

Aditya turned around.

Abhiraj was lying on the ground, covered in blood. He couldn't even stand. He was crying uncontrollably, calling out for his mother.

Aditya couldn't understand anything.

His mind was completely blank.

The last thing he remembered was Abhiraj standing over him before he lost consciousness. And now—this.

Through his tears, Abhiraj looked at Aditya and cried out,

Hic...Hic

"They will kill my mother!"
