Ayla was in a private hospital. Somewhere safer and far away.
I'd considered that the best option. For now, until I knew what exactly I was going to do with her.
Dr Dray walked two steps behind me as we moved in the direction of Will Thorne's room.
"Progress?"
Dr Dray shuffled through papers. "He's stable. Conscious enough to have small conversations…"
I paused in my steps. "Little conversations?"
Sweat broke out on Dr Dray's temple as he took some steps back.
God I was in a good mood today.
I wasn't going to kill anyone. At least not yet.
"I mean, he can talk for as long as you want." Dr Dray stuttered.
"Good"
I turned and continued forward.
The elevator closed behind us as we stepped into the VIP hallway.
"Anyting else?" I said not bothering to look at him.
He nodded, voice almost a whisper. "Don Cassian, I think he might experience memory loss."
