A Life in the Hidden Leaf
Chapter 6 - Part 1
The air in the room was thick enough to chew, a suffocating cocktail of rage, humiliation, and the raw, musky scent of sex. Tsunade's fury was a palpable force, a golden fire burning in her eyes that promised a painful, drawn-out death. She took another step forward, her hands clenched so tightly her knuckles were white, the legendary strength of her punches coiling in her shoulders, ready to be unleashed.
Yasuo, however, remained infuriatingly calm. He simply watched her, a faint, knowing smirk playing on his lips, as if her rage were a mild, amusing diversion. This complete lack of fear, this utter disregard for the power she could unleash at any second, only fueled her anger. It was an insult. It was a challenge.
But before she could lunge, before she could even form the next curse in her mind, her gaze was drawn, against her will, to the woman on the floor. Temari was beginning to stir. A soft, pained moan escaped her lips, and her eyelids fluttered open. They were dazed, unfocused, but as they slowly cleared, they found Tsunade's.

The single word was like a splash of ice water. Tsunade stared at him, her lust-fueled haze dissipating, replaced by sheer, unadulterated shock. "No?"
"No," he repeated, his voice firm, leaving no room for argument. "We have a meeting to conduct. An alliance to secure. And our guest needs to be helped to recover. That's the priority." He turned his gaze to the unconscious Temari, then back to Tsunade. "Be a good Hokage and clean her up properly. Get her some water. Then we can all sit down and behave like adults."
A low growl of frustration rumbled in Tsunade's chest. He was rejecting her. After all that, he was just… dismissing her. The sheer arrogance of it was staggering. "You're a meanie," she grumbled, the words childish and petty, but they were the only ones she could manage through her frustration and throbbing arousal.
Yasuo just chuckled, a low, amused sound that only made her angrier.
With a final, resentful glare, Tsunade turned back to Temari. The task was demeaning, but he was right. With a sigh that was half-exasperation, half-arousal, she finished the job, using a clean cloth from her pouch to gently wipe Temari's thighs and the floor around her. She then helped the semi-conscious kunoichi to her feet, supporting her weight as she guided her to the couch. Temari was limp, her head lolling, but she was starting to come around.
Tsunade sat her down on the plush sofa, then went to the small side bar and poured a glass of water, bringing it back and pressing it into Temari's trembling hands.
Slowly, the world began to come back into focus for Temari. The throbbing in her head subsided, replaced by a dull, pleasant ache between her legs and the lingering taste of… something. She blinked, her vision clearing. She saw Yasuo standing by the window, his arms crossed, looking out at the village as if nothing had happened. She saw the Hokage sitting beside her, her expression serious, professional, the very picture of a concerned leader.
Temari's mind raced. What was real? Had she imagined it? The humiliation of being found, the shock of seeing the Hokage… and then… that. The impossible, dream-like memory of the Fifth Hokage's head between her legs. It couldn't be real. It was too bizarre, too shameless. It must have been a hallucination, a fever-dream brought on by the intensity of her orgasms.
She decided, for her own sanity, not to overthink it. She took a sip of water, the cool liquid soothing her dry throat. She pushed the confusing, fragmented memories to the back of her mind, locking them away. She had a job to do.
Taking a deep, steadying breath, Temari sat up straighter, her professional mask sliding back into place, though it felt a little heavier, a little cracked than it had before. She looked from the stoic Yasuo to the composed Tsunade.
"Hokage-sama," she began, her voice a little hoarse but firm. "Yasuo-sama. Thank you for your patience. Shall we… proceed with the meeting?"
The air in the room, once thick with the scent of sex and raw power, had now settled into a tense, professional stillness. Temari, seated on the sofa with a glass of water clutched in her hands, had successfully compartmentalized the humiliating, blissful chaos of the past hour. The Hokage was the Hokage, and Yasuo was the Hokage's imposing right hand. The… other things… were a fever dream, a trauma-induced hallucination she would dissect and bury later, in the privacy of her own quarters. For now, there was only business.
Tsunade, having regained her formidable composure, sat opposite her, her golden eyes sharp and focused, all traces of the lustful woman from moments ago vanished. Yasuo remained standing by the window, a silent, observant sentinel, his presence lending a weight to the proceedings that was impossible to ignore.
"Before we discuss trade routes and resource agreements," Tsunade began, her voice all business, "we need to talk about the elephant in the room. The Akatsuki."
Temari's expression hardened, the brief flicker of confusion replaced by a cold, familiar anger. "Of course. Gaara's abduction… it's proof that no one is safe. Not even a Kage."
"They're a cancer," Yasuo stated, his voice a low, calm rumble that cut through the room. "And they're spreading. We need to share everything we know. Every detail, no matter how small. Gaps in our intelligence are gaps they can exploit."
Tsunade nodded in agreement. "He's right. Let's start with what we know for sure. Their goal, as far as we can tell, is the capture of the nine Tailed Beasts. Gaara was the one-tail, Naruto is the nine-tails. They've already taken three others before him."
"Four, if you count the Three-Tails that our intelligence believes they captured in the Land of Water a few months back," Temari added, her voice grim. "It was an unconfirmed report, but given what happened to Gaara, we have to assume it's true."
Yasuo's eyes narrowed. "That confirms their pattern. They're methodical. They're not just picking them off at random; there's a strategy. What about their members? Let's list them. The ones we've encountered, the ones we've only heard of."
Tsunade took the lead, her mind a steel trap for information. "We'll start with the dead. Sasori of the Red Sand. Deceased. Killed by Chiyo-baasama and Sakura Haruno. He was a master of puppets, a Suna native. His abilities were terrifying—poison, a hundred puppets at once, even a human puppet of himself. Losing him was a significant blow to their operational strength."
"And Deidara," Temari added, her voice tight with remembered fury. "The bomber. Also deceased, killed in the confrontation after Gaara was taken. He used exploding clay, molded with the mouths in his hands. His flight capabilities and large-scale explosions made him a major threat to fortified positions. He's the one who captured Gaara."
Yasuo's gaze shifted to Tsunade. "And the ones we dealt with here. Hidan and Kakuzu."
"Hidan," Tsunade said, a flicker of revulsion crossing her face. "A religious zealot who was functionally immortal. His voodoo-like ritual, where he could inflict any wound he received onto his opponent by ingesting their blood, made him a nightmare in one-on-one combat. The only way we stopped him was by dismembering him and burying the pieces alive. Shikamaru Nara was instrumental in that."
"Kakuzu was his partner," Yasuo continued, picking up the thread. "Much older than he looked. A former ninja from Takigakure who stole a forbidden kinjutsu that let him steal hearts from his victims, giving him multiple elemental affinities and five lives, essentially. He was a bounty hunter for decades, incredibly experienced, and his threads could be used for both offense and defense, even to reattach his own limbs. Asuma Sarutobi fell to him."
Temari listened, her expression grim. "We'd heard whispers of a pair that moved like that, but the details were never clear. Immortality and multiple hearts… it sounds like a bad fairy tale."
"The worst kind," Tsunade muttered. "The kind that's real. That's four confirmed members eliminated. But their numbers aren't large. We estimate ten members in total. Which means six are still active."
"And we don't even know all of them," Yasuo said. "Let's move to the ones we know of but haven't faced directly. Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki."
A heavy silence fell over the room. The name 'Uchiha' still carried a poisonous weight in Konoha.
"Itachi," Tsunade said, her voice cold. "S-rank missing-nin. He single-handedly wiped out his entire clan, save for his brother. His Mangekyo Sharingan is his greatest weapon. Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu that can torture a victim for days in the space of a second. And Amaterasu, inextinguishable black flames. He's a prodigy without equal."
"His partner is Kisame Hoshigaki, 'The Tailless Tailed Beast,'" Temari provided, her knowledge of the organization's members extensive, born of necessity. "Former ninja of Kirigakure's Seven Swordsmen. He wields Samehada, a living sword that eats chakra and fuses with his owner. He has immense chakra reserves of his own and can create water clones that are almost indistinguishable from the real thing. He and Itachi were the ones who tried to kidnap Naruto years ago."
Yasuo's mind processed the information, filing it away. "A strategic pairing. Kisame's raw power and Samehada's chakra-draining ability make him the perfect partner for a specialist like Itachi, who can be vulnerable to opponents with overwhelming stamina. They're a near-perfect team."
"That leaves two more we've had direct encounters with," Tsunade said, her gaze turning distant. "Orochimaru. He was a member, but he left after trying to take Itachi's body and failing. He's no longer affiliated, but his knowledge of their inner workings, however dated, is a threat."
"And Kakuzu's other partner," Yasuo added, looking at Temari. "The one who killed your partner, Sasori. A man we know very little about, other than his name and his unique ability."
"Zetsu," Temari said, her voice low. "All we have are field reports. A white half and a black half. He's their spy, their intelligence gatherer. He can travel through the earth and trees at incredible speeds, acting as a surveillance network for the entire organization. He's the one who records their battles and retrieves their rings. We don't know his combat capabilities, but his ability to be anywhere, anytime, makes him one of their most valuable assets."
"And the leader," Tsunade said, leaning forward, her voice dropping. "Pain. This is where our information is thinnest. Jiraiya is heading to Amegakure right now to investigate him personally. That's all we know for sure. He's based there. He commands the other members through some form of telepathy or proxy. He's the one pulling the strings."
"What about his abilities?" Temari pressed. "The reports from the… extraction… were garbled, spoken by terrified guards. They mentioned multiple bodies, the Rinnegan."
"The Rinnegan," Yasuo murmured, the name hanging in the air like a death sentence. "The legendary doujutsu of the Sage of Six Paths. If that's true, then we're facing a power on a completely different level. We know nothing about its techniques, its limitations. It's a complete black box."
"And that's the problem," Tsunade said, slamming her hand on the arm of her chair. "We're fighting a war in the dark. We know their members, we know some of their abilities, but we don't know their *purpose*. Why the Tailed Beasts? What are they doing with all that chakra? Are they building a weapon? Trying to become some kind of god? The unknown is what's going to get us killed."
"They're not just a group of S-rank criminals," Yasuo stated, his eyes meeting Tsunade's, then Temari's. "They're a highly organized, ideologically driven paramilitary organization. They have a clear goal, a clear hierarchy, and the patience to see it through. This isn't about random acts of terror. This is a plan."
"So what do we do?" Temari asked, her voice firm, cutting to the heart of the matter. "Our villages can't fight this alone. Konoha has already lost one of its finest jonin in Asuma. We almost lost our Kazekage. The next time, we might not be so lucky."
