I cross my arms and roll my eyes, sinking into the plush leather of the SUV's second row. Kidd and Kier flank me like bookends-either they think I need guarding or they're just trying to get under Lucian's skin. He's up front in the passenger seat next to Ace, who keeps one hand on the wheel and the other resting easy on the gear shift.
How did we end up here? My two troublemakers insisted on riding up front, and they refused to go without Lucian. As for me stuck between these two giants? I'd bet my last peso it's their idea of a joke.
Poor guy-he has no clue these three used to be terrified of him back in the day, too scared to even tease him. But now that his memory's gone, they gang up like it's a game they'll never tire of.
