Chapter 45 - Chapter 45 Party

Just as Regina extended her invitation, June found her way over, following her daughter's figure.

Today, June was dressed in a pink slimming suit, carrying a designer handbag, and wearing exaggerated sunglasses, looking every bit the wealthy lady.

"Look who it is? Our number twenty-one. I love you to death…" She pulled down her sunglasses, her gaze lingering on Mike for a moment, a look of pleasant surprise on her face.

Compared to Regina, June exuded more of a "mature" charm.

Then, she ambiguously asked her daughter, "Is he your boyfriend?"

"Mom—" Regina glanced at Mike without denying it, and continued, "I want to host a party at home, inviting the football team and cheerleaders to come over."

"That's a good idea, the house hasn't been lively in a long time," June immediately expressed her support.

Soon, the football players and cheerleaders also received Regina's party invitation.

The young people on the field cheered once again.

Especially school outcasts like Georgie, who had never attended such a high-end party.

The girls on the cheerleading squad were all quite attractive.

Just thinking about being able to interact privately with so many beautiful girls was enough to make Georgie, whose male hormones were surging, happy for a long time.

The football team's next game would be next Monday.

So, the team members also had enough time to relax.

On the sidelines, after Mike explained the situation to Coach George, he was saying goodbye to the Coopers.

"Mike, stop dawdling!" Georgie, who was excited, urged from the side, "That's a party hosted by Regina, I don't want to be late."

It was only midday, so there was no such thing as being late.

Georgie's eagerness was probably because he wanted to arrive early and see if he could snag a pretty girl.

He had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time.

Seeing Georgie's impatient look, Mike smiled and shook his head, then waved to the Coopers, ready to leave.

"Wait." Connie came over to Mike, secretly slipping three small umbrellas into his hand, and teased, "Safety first, it's fine if you don't come back tonight."

As she spoke, she winked at Mike, her meaning clear.

Mike felt a bit awkward holding the small umbrellas; he would rather buy a box himself.

But in the end, he still honestly put the small umbrellas into his pocket and walked towards the locker room with Georgie.

Watching Mike's departing back, the sharp-eyed Sheldon curiously asked, "Grandma, what did you just give Mike? Why isn't he coming back tonight?"

"Oh, Shelly—" Connie stroked Sheldon's head and said mysteriously, "You're still young, Grandma will tell you in a few years…"

As she spoke, Connie blinked, revealing a smile that only "adults" would understand.

"Mom—"

Mary, knowing Sheldon's strong curiosity, quickly interrupted the conversation to prevent Connie from saying anything inappropriate for children.

On the other side, Mike quickly rinsed off, changed into a comfortable white T-shirt, and then put the small umbrellas snugly into the back pocket of his jeans.

Then, he walked out of the locker room with Georgie, who was already ready.

After showering and changing, Georgie, in order to stand out at the party, specifically put on his football uniform.

After all, on this special day, who could refuse a football player?

However, when Georgie looked at Mike, who had simply tidied up and still looked fresh and handsome, he could only say sourly, "Please stay away from me at the party later."

Although Georgie's appearance wasn't bad, compared to the handsome Mike, he could only be considered a foil.

Mike, understanding the other party's thoughts, didn't spoil the mood and made an OK gesture with a smile.

The two arrived at the entrance and immediately saw the eye-catching pink sports car.

"Mike, get in quickly!" Regina leaned over, enthusiastically greeting Mike.

Cady and Karen, who were in the back seat of the four-seater sports car, also squeezed out a space for Mike when they saw him.

As for Georgie, who was specifically wearing his team uniform by the roadside, he was selectively ignored by the four beauties of The Plastics.

"Go on, Mike. We'll see you at the party later," Georgie said, feigning magnanimity.

"Alright, see you later." To avoid awkwardness, Mike didn't say much either.

The luxury car, beautiful women, and handsome man sped away amidst the roar.

On the other side, Aaron, driving his own pickup truck, saw Georgie by the roadside.

He stopped the car and waved, "Georgie, want a ride?"

"Of course—"

Music, fairy lights, cocktails, plus all kinds of specialty snacks.

June, who loved lively gatherings, decorated the second floor of the villa to look like a party.

Amidst the clinking of glasses, the football team members each used their own methods to attract the beautifully dressed cheerleaders on the field.

Meanwhile, inside Regina's room, isolated from the outside noise, a pink ambiance revealed an ambiguous atmosphere.

Seeing Regina, who had changed into a small camisole and exuded charm, made Mike feel an itch in his heart.

Under his proactive approach, the war quickly began.

It was at this moment that, with a "click," June pushed open the door, holding two special cocktails.

"I've brought you drinks," June placed the cocktails on the small table, showing no intention of leaving, but instead suggested with interest, "You two continue, don't mind me."

The three of them looked at each other, and even Regina found this awkward situation a bit unbearable.

She covered herself with a blanket and said angrily, "How did you get in?"

To avoid being disturbed during her "fun time," Regina was sure she had closed the door tightly before.

June smiled and shook the key chain in her hand, saying caringly, "Regina, this is your first time, if you don't understand anything, you can ask Mom."

Then, her gaze swept over Mike's strong chest, and her eyes gradually grew hot.

Regina covered her face in shame and said angrily, "Get out!!"

"Alright." June shrugged and walked towards the door with a hint of regret.

Upon reaching the door, she turned around and winked at Mike, "If you need anything, just call me anytime…"

Once the door closed again, a few moments later, faint whispers could be heard in the room.

"Not yet…" When Mike took out the small umbrella, Regina resisted, then asked, "Mike, does this mean we're officially together?"

Actually, Regina didn't intend to give herself completely this time; she only planned to give Mike some sweetness.

Then, she wanted to confirm their relationship so that she could control him in the future.

This intimate contact was more like a transaction.

Mike, whose interest had been interrupted again, also sobered up. He asked himself if he could abandon the entire forest for one tree.

Moreover, the strong-willed Regina was not the best choice for a girlfriend.

"What do you mean?" Seeing that the other party didn't respond immediately, Regina, feeling that she had been taken advantage of, immediately became angry again.

She kicked Mike out while furiously yelling, "Get out of here!"

Such matters inherently require mutual consent. Since the other party was unwilling, Mike didn't want to force himself.

As for being a simp, whoever wants to be one can be one.

Mike put on his clothes and pushed the door open.

"Bastard! Scum!!…"

Seeing the other party leave without a trace of reluctance, Regina felt lost and even angrier.

Her plan this time could be considered a double loss.

After a tirade, Regina still felt unsatisfied. She got up, found her notebook from the cabinet, and added a whole new page of bad things about Mike.
