April.
Toyogasaki Academy, Tokyo.
As he stood at the school gate, Tsubasa Shiraha looked at the cherry blossom trees swaying in the wind, his expression filled with emotion.
"It seems my three years of high school will be spent here," he muttered to himself.
In fact, he did not originally belong to this world.
He was a Transmigrant.
A month ago, when he woke up as usual, he found himself having crossed over to this world.
The original owner of the body he was currently controlling had committed suicide by drinking a fast-acting poison because the guy couldn't accept the death of his parents. Therefore, he had no mental burden to accept his body, identity, and legacy.
Not only did he have more than enough savings to live on until he graduated from high school, but he also had a house. He was even admitted to Toyogasaki Academy.
Even though he was already 18 years old, he had just entered high school.
In this world, high school was equivalent to university in his original world. After six years of elementary school, there was junior middle school and senior middle school, each lasting three years.
Following that, there was high school, which took three years to finish, and after that, college, which only took two years. In other words, high school graduates in this world received a diploma equivalent to bachelor's degree in his original world, and college graduates in this world received a master's degree.
That said, it was natural that he started high school at the age when he would have been a new college student in his original world.
Back to the previous topic, this world was a hodgepodge world, a mix of various slice-of-life anime.
In Senior Middle School, his classmate was a petite, blue-eyed, blonde twin-tailed girl—Eriri Sawamura.
His next-door neighbor was Kazusa Tōma, a beautiful young woman with long black hair, a tall, curvy figure, and an awkward personality.
Not to mention, the several juniors he had become acquainted with in clubs he had joined before... were all characters he was familiar with from watching anime in his original world.
He had to admit that the twists and turns of life were truly amazing.
Fortunately, he was someone who adapted easily. After a month of adjustment, he gradually integrated into this world.
Tsubasa reined in his complex thoughts. After parking his bicycle, he headed to his classroom and soon arrived at Class 1-A.
Maybe because it was the start of the school year, the classroom was very noisy.
The young men and women in Toyogasaki Academy uniforms chattered nonstop, as if they had endless energy to vent.
Tsubasa casually found an empty seat near the window and sat down, observing the people in the classroom.
As expected, he found some familiar faces.
In the front row sat a beautiful woman with ruby-red eyes and long black hair adorned with a white headband, casually flipping through a book. She had a tall, curvy figure, alluring legs in black stockings, and a calm, elegant demeanor.
And sitting right in front of his desk was, surprisingly, a young woman who radiated a very cold aura. She possessed a refined appearance, delicate features, fair skin, perfect pink lips, and long black hair with two long strands in the front each tied with a thin red ribbon. Plus, she exuded the bearing of a model student or aristocrat, which made her seem out of place among the people around her.
"Tsk, in the front row is Utaha Kasumigaoka, and in front of my desk is Yukino Yukinoshita... This kind of start is really..." Tsubasa muttered to himself, blinking.
It really hit home that he was in a slice-of-life anime crossover world.
Tsubasa was confused as to why Utaha was his classmate instead of his senior. However, this was nothing compared to his confusion over why Yukino was attending Toyogasaki Academy in Tokyo, instead of Sobu High School in Chiba.
Before Tsubasa could think about it further, something unexpected happened suddenly.
An emotionless, synthetic voice rang in his ears.
«The Survival Game is about to begin. Start the countdown: 5. 4. 3. 2. 1!»
"Huh?!" Tsubasa was shocked. But before he could react, he suddenly lost consciousness.
✱✱✱
Tsubasa regained consciousness and immediately felt a hard, cold sensation beneath him. When he opened his eyes, he found himself on the floor of an unfamiliar classroom.
He was no longer in class 1-A of Toyogasaki Academy. This unfamiliar classroom was messy, and the walls were covered in various English graffiti. There was a large LCD screen mounted on the front wall of the classroom.
The windows were reinforced with wooden planks and barbed wire. The teacher's podium and students' desks were stacked in front of the door, as if to guard against unknown creatures...
Just as Tsubasa was carefully surveying his surroundings, a faint sound came from beside him, drawing his attention.
Turning to look, Tsubasa saw Utaha also on the floor. She was staring at him in a daze, and her wide eyes revealed shock.
Tsubasa stared blankly at Utaha, but his mind was elsewhere.
"What exactly is going on?"
Before Tsubasa could ponder further, Utaha suddenly changed her expression, showing disgust.
She quickly reached out to cover the hem of her pleated skirt. Her alluring legs in black stockings also quickly curled up, concealing her private view.
"Pervert," she accused in a cold, flat tone.
"Eh?" Tsubasa was shocked, and then muttered to himself, "No, who was perving at you?"
Honestly, it stung.
Even though Utaha was one of his favorite female anime characters before he crossed over, being accused of something he didn't do made him feel unhappy. However, at this critical moment, he didn't have time to explain this misunderstanding.
Tsubasa turned his head away, and then looked around. There were other people in this unfamiliar classroom. There were even many familiar faces from Class 1-A of Toyogasaki Academy...
And more unfamiliar faces; from their school uniforms alone, Tsubasa couldn't tell which school they belonged to. However, without exception, those who were teleported in seemed to all be high school freshmen just like him.
Before long, the entire classroom was filled with a total of twenty-two people.
After a brief shock, everyone started trying to understand what was going on, and the surroundings immediately became noisy.
"Damn it, what the hell is going on?" A brown-haired short young man surveyed his surroundings and loudly grumbled in an irritable tone: "Do you know who I am? I'm the son of the chairman of the Yamato Group! Whether this is a prank or a reality show, you've pissed me off! Let me out now!"
Then, more and more people started to express their feelings.
"My phone has no signal!"
"Damn it, mine too... I can't call the police!"
"Bastards! Who's playing tricks?! Come out!"
"Is this a kidnapping?"
"Waaah... Mom, Dad, I'm so scared..."
Suddenly arriving in an unfamiliar environment, these people felt nothing but dissatisfaction, confusion, anxiety, and anger. A few timid young women even started crying out of helplessness and despair.
"Why are you crying? Just move these desks and chairs out of the way!" said a young man named Taisuke Sawanaga, thinking he had found a solution to the problem.
Taisuke immediately walked to the nearest window and tried to force open the tightly nailed window. But he was shocked to find that even though he had used all his strength, he still couldn't budge it even an inch.
"What the hell?" Taisuke's face flushed red from having embarrassed himself.
To keep his remaining dignity, he tried again; he pulled a nearby chair hard. As a result, he lost his grip due to excessive force and fell to the ground with a 'thud.'
These seemingly ordinary chairs were like they were welded in place. Completely unmovable.
After Taisuke fell, a short young man quickly came forward to help him up while asking with some concern: "Taisuke, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Makoto." His face flushing red, Taisuke shook his head at his friend—Makoto Ito. Then, he said while gritting his teeth with some unwillingness: "Damn it, these windows and chairs are weird, as if they're stuck in place! They made me fall..."
At that moment, the large LCD screen mounted on the front wall suddenly made a loud 'beep' sound, drawing everyone's attention. As the screen lit up, a passage of text appeared before everyone's eyes.
The previously noisy environment instantly fell silent. Everyone stared intently at the lines of text appearing on the display.

"I have to gather information as quickly as possible." As soon as he finished reading the contents written on the LCD screen, Tsubasa immediately took a deep breath and summoned his [Player Panel], thinking, "Player Panel."
The next moment, a translucent dark blue panel with white text, full of a sci-fi feel, appeared in his field of view.

After reading the contents of his [Player Panel], Tsubasa couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
Perhaps because he was a Transmigrant, his [Mind] was far above average.
As for his other stats, they were fairly average; he had no comment about it.
"Speaking of which, it has come to this... will my cheat come soon? Without a cheat, how can I survive for thirty days in this Zombies-infested hellhole?"
As soon as Tsubasa finished thinking this, a translucent black panel with golden text appeared in his field of view. Just a glance was enough to know that this panel had nothing to do with the Death Game.
[Basic Marksmanship (0/10)]
"Hm!?" Information flooded his mind. Tsubasa immediately understood.
This translucent black panel with golden text was his cheat, and the function of his cheat was very simple and intuitive: as long as he diligently improved his skills' proficiencies, he could continuously upgrade those skills.
As for why he knew [Marksmanship], it had to be linked to his experiences in his previous life as a military enthusiast. He even trained under the guidance of a retired squad leader of special forces.

As the last person finished reading the contents written on the LCD screen, it went dark. Then, it slid up and quickly disappeared from the front of the classroom, leaving a blank wall.
A moment later, the entire wall began to retract inwards, emitting a series of clicking sounds. Following this, it slowly rotated, revealing what was hidden behind it.
To everyone's surprise, there was an armory fully stocked with modern firearms and cold weapons. It gave everyone a strong visual impact.
The majority of everyone present, living in a peaceful society, had never seen authentic cold weapons and guns before... Each of them stared with wide eyes, stunned on the spot.
While others were still in a daze, Tsubasa had already walked to the armory and began selecting weapons. Due to his past experiences, he was no stranger to modern firearms.
SCAR-L, AK-105, HK416, UMP9 submachine gun, Kriss Vector, Uzi, Winchester M1887, fragmentation grenades, Claymore mines, various models of guns, incendiary bombs, and even an M24...
After careful consideration, Tsubasa reached out for the AK-105 tactical assault rifle. This weapon was a shortened version of the Russian-made AK-74M, and it was also a member of the AK family.
The most famous weapon in the AK family was, of course, the renowned AK47.
But Tsubasa had his reasons for choosing the AK-105 as his main weapon.
Compared to the traditional AK-74, the AK-105 had a noticeably longer barrel.
Some users even believed that the AK-105 was the last outstanding masterpiece of the AK family.
Tactically, the AK-105 had a reduced range, increased portability, more tactical accessory slots, and a detachable folding stock; it was not only more agile but also quite powerful.
In certain situations, it could even replace a submachine gun.
In reality, Russian special forces like Alpha and Vympel were very fond of this violent and fast killer weapon.
Immediately after, Tsubasa also picked a lightweight camouflage stab-proof vest from the armory. Next, he collected the following weapons: a silver-gray Colt Python, a Beretta M9, a pair of Kukri Military Knife, and several grenades and smoke bombs.
The moment Tsubasa touched those weapons, the [Cheat Panel] popped up.
[Basic Swordsmanship (0/10)]
[Basic Firearms Mastery (0/10)]
"This..." Tsubasa muttered, and then realized. "I see... So, just touching the related weapon can unlock the skill at the [Basic] level. How convenient!"
