The rain was still falling, but Kim Soo felt different.
His heart was beating slow, very slow.
He looked at his hands and saw black shadows dancing.
Suddenly, three men came out of a dark alley.
They were the debt collectors who always beat him.
"Hey, Kim Soo! Where is our money?" the leader shouted.
Kim Soo felt a strange anger inside his chest.
His eyes started to glow with a sharp red light.
"I don't have time for you today," Kim Soo said coldly.
The men laughed and tried to grab him.
But before they could touch him, a shadow rose from the ground!
The shadow was like a sharp blade.
One of the men screamed as the shadow pushed him back.
The others were terrified. "What... what are you?!"
Kim Soo didn't answer. He felt a power he never had before.
He just looked at them, and they felt like they couldn't breath.
"Leave. Now." Kim Soo ordered.
The debt collectors ran away as fast as they can.
Kim Soo stood alone in the dark street.
He looked at a shop window and saw his reflection.
His eyes were not human anymore. They were crimson.
But then, he remembered the man's words.
"Everyone you love will vanish."
He took out his phone to call his sister, but his hand stopped.
Is he ready to lose her?
Is the power worth the lonelyness?
