"Are you feeling better now?"
Aria asked, as she eyed Soren with a bit of distress. To be honest, she regretted a bit calling for his help.
If she were strong enough to protect Sylvia, Soren wouldn't have been injured at all.
"Yeah, I am fine. I should be able to walk somehow now."
Soren nodded before slowly standing on the ground.
"Hsss..."
But when his legs touched the ground, he felt a tingling pain going straight through his brain from his leg.
Earlier, he didn't feel much because of the adrenaline rush, but now the pain was slowly returning to him. Fortunately, Sylvia's healing reduced much of his wound, making him only hiss right now.
"Hey, don't walk already. Your foot is still delicate."
Sylvia immediately became anxious after hearing his painful moan, stepping right beside Soren and letting him lean on her, his arm naturally resting on her shoulder.
"Yeah, be careful. I saw your bones were completely shattered by that fall. Take it easy, will you?"
